Charlemagne was never the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, He was the emperor of the Carolingian empire who created both Kingdom of France and Holy Roman Empire (he is not a German king, it’s a French king who created the ancestors of Germany)

I get that not all 30 of the civs can have a leader, they are only planning 1 leader for every 2 civs. but why then add leaders for civs that arent even in the game?

I wonder if the composer knows about the history between Majapahit and Sunda Kingdom, especially regarding Bubat Incident that led to the sv1cide of Princess Dyah Pitaloka of Sunda Kingdom.

Would have been nice to have Charlemagne converse in Frankish and Latin, not just Latin. Should note for historical context, as the Franks conquered Gaul, Latin was changing incorporating Celtic lingua, Germanic and Vulgar Latin.

yes! as much as i enjoy the Serpent Queen show I was not fan of Catherine Medici in Civ. Charlemagne or Napoleon should always be in Civ.

I really love Charlemagne and always wanted him in the game, but we can't have this many European leaders without a balanced amount of European civs per age! Imagine having Isabella, Machiavelli, Augustus, Ben Franklin, Napoleon, and now Charlemagne in the same game. Who is going where? How will the AI decide what is most accurate?

Love the architecture here, but does this make the franks an antiquity age civ? If so does that make the antiquity age essentially go from stone age to early mediaeval?
