I actually realized I was genderfluid when the term was explained to me a while ago, but I never really felt that strongly of it until about a year or 2 ago. Recently I've been trying to figure out what fits me more specifically, it took a bit but I got there eventually. I went from genderfluid, to demigender, to demifluid, back to genderfluid, and finally to genderfloren with a slight pull to masculinity. When you realize that gender identity and gender expression are 2 separate things, it really opens up a whole new perspective to things. Just try to have fun with it, see what works with you, what pronouns make you feel good, how you want people to perceive you. Hope this was helpful ^^ <3

The “dysphoria… sometimes” stuck to me. I get dysphoria… sometimes. I don’t mind being seen as a single gender my entire life, I don’t mind that I was born female, however, I’m generally neutral with any pronouns being used for me. Idk. I hate hook up culture with a passion as it personally feels merely like objectifying people in a sexual light that is no where near genuine and is all focused around lustful feelings and desires that then get dumped abruptly after you do the deed with said random person. To those who participate in such? They either have next to no self worth, have no abilities to commit and/or simply don't want/can't be bothered to put in any genuine amounts of honest efforts into getting to actually knowing a person... not just f**king them and gaining that sexual gratification from them before moving on to obnoxiously repeat said cycle over and over again. Disgusting. Not to mention the risks of STIs/STDs and accidental pregnancy. No person who willingly participates in hook up culture will EVER be attractive to me.. not in the slightest. Sex has to be properly earned via displays of genuine emotional investment and consistent amounts of effort. Demonstrate such in a manner that makes one think you really are worthwhile, and you will be rewarded with much more meaningful sexual interactions as a result. If you act like an oversexed dog who feel as if someone owes you sex outright or after only a few weeks of dating around a Demi? You'll be likely promptly put in your desperate place in the single dog house in favour for the chance of a better breed of person who actually is willing to take the time to get to know the entire you and not just the holes you possess. Sorry, not sorry~!

I have all the kinds of dysphoria. The chest dysphoria is probably the worst, though. But I have top surgery in less than two weeks! Yay! Also, for most of my life, my dysphoria manifested largely as dissociation. So I didn't even realize I was trans until my 30's. Well, that was partly due to not knowing being trans was a thing (and also not knowing non-binary was a thing). As soon as I understood what it was to be trans and non-binary, I realized I was non-binary. But it still took a few more years to realize I was dysphoric. I'd had the experience of dysphoria all those years, but I never had a name for the feeling. It was like everything just fit wrong and I was always uncomfortable, like I was wearing the wrong size of shoes all the time. But it seemed like an inevitable part of life, or just part of my anxiety disorder or something. After addressing my trauma it finally hit me that it was dysphoria. Then lots of previously baffling things started to make sense.

From what I’ve seen, it’s something like: The community is too “loud”, like they should conform more to society, and being so “offensive” to society hurts lgbt+ rights.
