Great Job with the saws. They look amazing. I'd love to buy a set, and they seem well worth the cost, but I'm on a fixed income, so it'll take awhile to save up the money. For now, I'll have to stick with my cheaper saws (an older Suizan Ryoba, an Ace Hardware dovetail, and the newest addition, an over 100 year old Disston & Sons #7 Rip Saw, that I got for free and restored... video on my channel :) )

Great work!! Wish I had half the tools this man has. I’m torn between the 16” SkilSaw and the 16” Makita circular saw. I love Makita, but that SkilSaw cuts beautifully

I don't think I'd be able to use a cutting board like that. I'd probably just keep it in my kitchen on display. That's probably the sweetest cutting board I've ever seen!

Surprised you did not use joist tape nor did I see you use copper naphthenat to retreat your end cuts. Otherwise, deck looks great!

This is AWSOME where was this technology 30 yrs ago the only thing I can see I would’ve done was I would’ve added vents in the underskirt ing plus the board that went up against the concrete I would’ve painted it to help it from rotting but I love this thanks for sharing

Would there be a use-case for a saw that had two sides, like your current design, but where every other tooth is set in the same direction? Essentially, the saw would be marked "up" on the side where the teeth are set, or up when in use, regardless which side of the saw you are using. Would eliminate binding, provide kerf clearance, without gouging the wood below.

What you are describing sounds a lot like a French style flush cut saw. It resembles a concrete trowel with teeth along each side. One side has coarser teeth, the other fine teeth. Every other tooth is set toward the upper side of the blade; the others are even with bottom side of the blade. They used to be sold by the woodworking supply catalogs of a few decades ago. Am glad I got one when I did. Haven't seen one for sale in a long time. The blade is rigid; no need to flex it like the Japanese style.

I'm about to start fiberglassing my boat and it's a bit bigger boat than yours. (17.5' Lumber Yard Skiff.) So glad I waited to fiberglass and watched this video. Now I know I need to get some help, I'll need to pre-measure and set aside several containers of resin & hardner to make it faster to mix more epoxy as it goes along. According to my math (<40 yards) of 6 oz fiberglass will take about 3.5 gallons of epoxy. I have several 9" epoxy 1/4" foam rollers. And will need to get several large spreaders. My small garage is a mess and I need to get the fiberglass finished, sanded and the hull painted and the flipped. Thanks for your posting and glad to see your wife was jumping in to help. I'm afraid I'm straining my marriage with this beautiful catastrophe. :). Ignorance is not bliss. It's stressful ...but your video has revived my sense of the possibilities.

@ThirdCoastCraftsman oh, that depends a lot... There isn't a big woodworking shop like you guys have in the US. It's usually tool stores, importers and so on...
