Take some turns off that shroud! Looks like it's getting flexed some; once they are tensioned up, there's not much room for extra tension. Even a couple of mm deflection could be putting a lot of load on that bulkhead.

Hi Patricia, It's great seeing another video. I hope you are staying warm and dry. Please let me know if you are sailing through Nanaimo soon. I would love a photo of Oka, Nanamuk, and Catfish all together ( for anyone wondering, they are sister boats, however all completely different looks ) I am planning on lifting Catfish at Newcastle in about a month, storing her while I am working on the ice road. I am actually helping build the road this year, earning enough for a full new set of sails 😊 I am sure looking forward to launching and sailing North next spring.

Bonjour Patricia. Olivier.

Hi Pat, Kev the kayaker here--we crossed wakes while you were beach combing on Aristazabal and again the next year in Heikish Narrows. I realized after I saw you in Heikish that I had met you before in 2017, when my ex and I were looking into buying a boat off you on Salt Spring. Also the summer after our Heikish crossing, a friend I've hopped trains and squatted with met you in Bella Bella. Strange how small the sea can be. I paddled up to Haines, Alaska the year I last saw you. This year I packrafted down the Stikine River from Telegraph Creek, BC to Wrangell, AK, and spent the summer paddling the outer gulf coast of Chichagof, Baranof, and part of mainland Alaska, hung out with the Triloboats folks in Tenakee, then back to Haines to leave the kayak for winter. Good to do a quick search of your name and see you have youtube videos out on the water. Hope your sea adventures are good, I'll give some a watch. maybe I'll recognize your boat and make another crossing in the mist with you somewhere out in the watery world. take care, =kev=
