We used to put marzocchi shocks and hit dirt jumps and surprisingly very effective to huck big gaps and as long as you can sink the transition then your minty but even at skate parks with front suspension and some highrise MTB bars you've basically got the first rendition of what the refer to as a dirt jumper mtb and there's lots you can do to sprocket sizes to make it easy to pedal at short distances.

I am back in my day in the 80s you could get a nice BMX bike for about 300 and that was a red line and they were top-of-the-line back then that was the same time you could go to a Kmart and buy you a huffy for $50 I started BMX racing on a $50 huffy. I moved up to a Schwinn then up to a scorpion that’s another story in itself. I ended up getting a free bike from the scorpion manufacture because they caught me jumping their back fence and then I settled in for a red line and a 1987 a quit racing BMX bikes are used to race bikes in Devinshire downs. That’s up in Granada Hills California.

Hi Dave, the chest mount footage was Ok when you're in the saddle, but a bit too straight down when you're standing on the pedals. I think you'd be better served by a helmet mount. Your head helps stabilize a bit as well giving a better angle (My opinion only of course). Either way, keep the videos coming. Film what you want though, don't go chasing views too much or you could stop doing stuff you enjoy.

Im amzed at the components that come on a stock bike now, 3 pc crank, sealed bearings! Craziness! Im a late 80's 90's bmx kid those things were status symbols on the trails and at the track!
Was temped to one of those this past year but didn't try it. Let me know if you ever find a perfect camera place when biking, I'm still looking.

Really digging the bike content! Also dig the usual content! For the chest mount be sure to mount your camera upside down and then find your angle from the “attack position” super view aspect ratio helps too. Happy shredding and wheeling bro!

@@thedirtheadshed The idea is to get the lens as low as possible and then just tilt the SOB up. Before chin mounts became the rage upside down on a chestie was the way to go. Happy shredding and wrenching and fabbing. 👍

This rules. DMC rules. Good bike scene up in PNW. A UA style adventure mixed with bicycle stuff would rule. Bike racks on rock crawlers.
Check you out on those doubles! Nicely done. You'd love a dirt jumper style bike. Not much different than your DMC but a lower top tube and seat tube so you can tuck and can can and overall not worry about your balls so much. #26aintdead
