My car Had hesitated when turning left hard When fuel is low quite low Under half a quarter Did it 3 times Now yesterday It cut out then caught then out caught then out And stayed down for the count I couldn't hear the pump start And build up pressure I pulled the pump out Removed the fuel lines Tried starting it Nothing No sound no torque on motor Nothing Ive replaced the pump with a Bosch pump and filter Still got nothing Bridged Fp with gnd And still nothing There was a wire loose to the ecu/bcm its live it sparked When ignition was off im pretty sure I put the loose wire back in to see if that was the issue Still no start Im thinking i may have damaged the bcm/ecu Any thoughts???????

While of this being cool, the best sound still comes from natural aspiration, rpm's and big displacement. :)

I have an automatic Forester XT. My friend has been open source tuning it but the idle is too low around 400-500 rpm. My hood shakes and it sounds like shite. He can't adjust it due to my ECU only accepting maps that are compatible. I'm pretty sure the one that is in it is from a Forester STI. Do you have a ROM or know where I can get one so we could use it to adjust the idle settings on my auto Forester? The idle settings on mine says "experimental" and doesn't seem to take when adjusting it. I don't want to have to get a Cobb Access port and have to retune it like that. Hoping to fix it with open source. Let me know if you have any tips. Thanks

Hello! I am Japanese. This question is embarrassing, but let me do it because I don't have any knowledge. Do I have to remove the air conditioner and power steering when using this turbo kit? If there is a way to use it, please tell me. Sorry for the greedy question.
@TheCarPassionChannel2 күн бұрын
@@BTYTYNP This company (Kraken) makes another kit that moves the turbo higher, and that can be used with power steering and AC. The kit in this video is very difficult to fit with power steering and AC, but a few people have accomplished it

How much power were you able to make safely on the 5 speed? I heard the 6 speeds were stronger for the 300+ hp (250torque) range
@TheCarPassionChannel4 күн бұрын
@@andrewkraus1231 5-speeds can handle around 230-250wtq and 6-speeds can handle around 300-350wtq but these numbers heavily depend on how the car is used, what the powerband is like, and some luck

The second you talked about memories, BAM this hit me right in the feels and put my old car right there in front of me again: I built a turbo Integra when I was 20, back in 2005 - 95 obd1 Integra with a JDM B18B (it had lower compression) and a hybrid .57 trim T3/T4 running 22 lbs of boost. It RIPPED. Total home brew self tuned, built part by part with every paycheck for what felt like a year. Action kevlar clutch, Plx wideband, DSM Injector resistor pack wired into the injector harness, gnarly cast iron exhaust manifold that was janky as F, this mega front mount that I cut out most of the radiator bracing, an open dump wastegate (that was like a screaming banshee. it was AMAZING when it started to shunt exhaust right out the bumper. Made a road biker crash once....) and the best part - a REAL (not ebay crap) HKS SSQV that poked out the hood. That FLUTTER. That SCREAM when you let off the throttle at full boost. Girls HATED it. I loved hearing it. Man. I loved that car. Every bit of it. Talk about nostalgia. I knew every inch of that from the suspension from the TypeR LCA's and TEIN's to manually modifying the ECU to put a USB header so I could tune it with Chrome. (not the browser. The old school ECU tuning software for Honda ECU's. If you remember it, you get mega points). I would romp Corvettes in it when I had stickies on it. Those old guys would roll their window down and the look on their face when they pulled up - man. Best time of my life with JDM hair grease (expensive JDM 10wt oil) and being under my car more than I was driving it. What I wouldnt give to get that car back. A theft ring with a tow shop flat bedded it and stripped it then the tow place legally stole it from me. (getting your car stolen is the fastest way to learn how fcked the justice system is. Tow shops can LEGALLY steal your car and make you PAY THEM to give it to them. ) Since, i've had WRX's, STI's, Caymans, all sorts of stuff and even now, a 718 GT4, and nothing has ever made me feel quite the same as that car and build did. (ok, the GT4 is pretty cool, but not nearly as sleeper. lol) If you read this, thanks for reading my story. Cars are awesome.

Always check ring end gap. Theres no guarantee that they are correct size even if they say they are. Id rather double or tripple check than have an accident. Your fault, their fault don't matter. You still end up with a ruined engine at the end if there were to be a problem. Even bearing clearances I check it all.
