@@TheCarPassionChannel jeeezuz ive got a turbo converted na miata with standalone ecu and small other things pushing 300hp but i have the original gearbox 5 speed wich fkn sucks ninja shift into 3rd and the gear is gone tho i do have the diff and rear axles from s 1.8 wich i guess helps a little but i have to do smt about the trans

@@sieshvh At 300whp you should consider moving to a Miata 6-speed transmission. The 5-speed typically won't last long above 250whp, depending on torque, and how you drive. I would love to be on a 6-speed still but I kept breaking them, I'm now sitting at 465whp, 500whp+ haha

@@sieshvh The 6-speed is a direct swap for the 5-speed, except for, I believe it's the reverse light connector. Something really simple like that. And if you're putting the 6-speed into a Miata with a speedo cable (not electronic speed sensor) you need to swap in the mechanical speed sensor. It bolts in without modification. The axles & driveshaft you use only depend on the differential you use, transmission doesn't matter.

Ricer Miata ran a high 10 in his roadster before she got totaled and he was only making 420-428 idr the legit number but it’s possible to still run a 10 at 425-450

You’d only overspin the turbo if you have closed loop boost control. You’re just running WGDC.

The turbo will not overspin even at 100% WGDC 👍 engine is not producing enough exhaust gasses to spin it that fast, regardless of DC (wastegate stays 100% closed during these tests anyways, there isn't any boost pressure to open it)

Dang... I love being able to hear that turbine wind down! I have a 2560R and I can't hear it for crap! It's going to a Roadster Sport 4 exhaust.... I'm thinking I might need to remove the muffler in order to hear it. Good to know I should be able to hear it w/ 2.5"

I watched this, then the previous video, then this one again. Always impressed by your ability to rise up after a setback and share everything you've learned. I finally dialed my setup to the edge of dependability after pushing it super hard, breaking it, and having to rebuild the engine again... If you don't try, how will you ever really know what your limits are?

You have to remove 1 of 2 rear bolts at the diff, and loosen the rear most one slightly. Then it will pivot

man, seeing that fuel hose cracked reminded me so much of when my shitbox miata was turbo. Between fuel lines and turbo coolant lines I swear I was changing rubber hoses once a month. I don't miss that lol

For only 200 you can use one of the smaller kits like C30-84 or C30-74 to gain better low end torque. The C30-94 installed on this car can make well over 300whp depending on how it's set up

@@costastsementzis9414 No, stock engine internals are fine for 200whp. You'll need upgraded fuel injectors and a clutch though along with the rest of the forced induction kit

Make sure you use fuel injection hose that one that cracked looks like a low-pressure fuel hose i had the same issue it only last about a year or so
