I love the videos you make about the PSP, it was one of my first consoles and I am very fond of it, I have a 3000 model that is more than 12 years old and the screen already has its faults, do you recommend a specific screen for a good quality replacement? Thanks in advance Translated comment, my English is not the best
@TotalKommando10 сағат бұрын
Aftermarket screens have good visual quality, if they work, most come defective and are easy to damage. Best option in my opinion is a healthy good condition original 3000 screen

Can you do a comparison test with the original MH psp screen vs other 3000 models and every other generation as well please?
@TotalKommando13 сағат бұрын
Right here I compare the healthiest screens I had from each model: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnm7Y3mAbcdngrssi=huQj8r9xfc0oD7kz I found your best option is to find a healthy 3000 screen, preferably from the latest revisions TA-095v2+ Healthy as in, not used much, and not yellowing, bright etc

Have you encountered OHZHAO at all? I pulled out my PSP 2000 earlier today and found the battery bulging and looking quite spicy so I ordered some fresh batts for me PSP Fat and 2000 and went with OHZHAO from Amazon Canada. We'll see. Edit: Also my original Pandora battery won't charge but it's not pillowed.

where do you find screens for 20$? I can only find 1000 screens for that much, 2000 ones go for a minimum of 60-70$.

@@TotalKommando Then it must be because of where I live. Changing the currency to USD and inputting my address made it $52, which is still better, I guess. Although I only looked it up because I ordered a B-grade Vita from eBay and was curious how much it would cost to replace the screen in case it's badly scratched.

@@God-kx7fe unfortunately vita parts are expensive making getting a decent vita for a fair price, harder and harder as the years go by, as the parts are eventually going to run out of stock

This really gives me hope that the PSP 3000 will get a IPS mod "soon". I really wanted to daily a PSP 3K on my commute to school, but when I tried, I quickly realised that the screen is basically useless in sunlight... Which is unfortunate, because the 3K is at least for me the "perfect" handheld otherwise, its light, compact, looks great, plays the games I want and the overall feel is just amazing. Right now im stuck with my 3DS (very limited in terms of games I like) and Vita (way too big).

This video honestly made me more confused then before i watched it lol. At 3:51 you say bend one side of the led and wrap it. Well does it matter what wire from the led it is? isn't one positive and the other negative? also what do you do with the other cable on the led? just let it dangle freely?
@TotalKommando4 күн бұрын
No polarity requirements, 4:32 I show how you connect them, one wire to one side and same with the other. It's very simple.
@dotmatrix18404 күн бұрын
Ok but what if want to solder? this video is not really helpful for me unfortunately
@TotalKommando4 күн бұрын
You just solder directly to the contacts instead of wrapping the cable, there is no polarity requirement. 10:10 I show how I routed the cables after I soldered them directly to the 2 contacts.

@@TotalKommando so 64gb testet snd they are full to access. Thats a real card and buyed on the big electronic market satur in germany from the brand SanDisk. Everything that goes over 32gb on the psp was displayed as corrupted. And when that happens it goes back to older transfers too. Very strange problem. Same happens on a around 2 years old 64gb kingston card tot. With 32gb card no problems. Format like on the spreadsheet. The only possible error i could think of it could be the micro sd card adapter. These have some years on it. But 32 gb gives a good chance to separate the gsmes in psp and ps1/emu on separate cards

You don't need volume buttons, that's not how bluetooth works.... the volume is controlled by the device, in this case the headphones. Your external method you would still have two volume controls, both the PSP and the headphones. What you would avoid is needing to find a method to turn off the internal speakers with an internal mod.
@TotalKommando5 күн бұрын
That's true, however these are kind of super basic dumb Bluetooth transmitters, so they don't communicate like you mention. I double checked here and it's still the same case of having 2 different volume controls. And I have several ideas set aside for turning off internal speakers : )
