It's a shame that NMH lasted such a short time as a group because we could have gotten so many more amazing albums out of them, but I'm happy for what we got

Hi, just subscribed after going on a Radiohead binge. I love how honest you are and it's not clickbait or anything. Are you after suggestions for other music you haven't heard yet? If so you should do a poll!

If I were to describe his voice, it would be earnest. What he lacks in technical skill, he makes up with his earnestness. That is where the "real" comes in.

2000 was so much better when Kid A came out. Ok was a well-known masterpiece by 2000. Kid A was a revelation in sonic imagery. Jonny did the compositions.

Imagine if you had a fast German car in 1997? The 90's were amazing for music. R was the gestalt. Saw them live 10 times. Please watch videos of them, they are better live than on record..

Radiohead, the musical equivalent of “you’re not going to be okay, but that’s okay, because you are going to be okay with not being okay, and you will be stronger for it, healthier for it, and that it what will make you ok.” Their songs are all haunting, usually sad if you really dig into it, but also cathartic, and make life richer.

I first listened to this album like 15 years too late, driving at night along a lonely freeway, not knowing anything about Radiohead except Creep, and it also changed my brain forever. You just cannot prepare yourself for the distraught beauty of this album.

If you haven’t, you need to listen to the album The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers. It’s my favourite album of all time. The music is gritty and grungy and the lyrics are shocking and a brutal deep dive into the psyche of their main lyricist who suffered with EDs, anxiety and other mental health issues before disappearing before their US tour. They never made big in the US because of this and because of the references to politics, philosophy, literature and art in their lyrics. It is an amazing album.
