Been Playing for 8 years and just starting to get into scales. I've always loved soloing but never delved into the theory of it. This is great advice thank you!

Great advice. Thank you. I've been looking for something like that. I love that funky sound. Reminds me of what the cop shows from the 70s. I love it. You could also amp up throw an echo effect on there with a little bit of reverb that'll keep you busy all day..

I literally taught myself every bit of this like 3 hours into learning this scale lol. Was hoping this would teach me how to get out of the dad rock box XD

Bro, thank you for this. This was such a great lesson man. A light bulb ( yes maybe a low voltage, flickering pendant) but a light nonetheless… I know how much time these take to make so this guitarist thanks you for this valuable insight !

Nice. Very helpful... except... you're playing LOTS of grace notes that are NOT in the penatonic scale.

Theory. But most of the songs have a simple rhytm. No guitar and no style will ever be able to compensate a lack of musical imagination

This is fun. It’s a fun exercise to work out my fingers and get the deck theory and accuracy down. I’m gonna play this a lot over the next week or so try to get it dialed in. I noticed that I’m not putting the rhythmic pressure on the strings are in the video.that really gets me messed up, but I know I can learn it.
