5 reason to not buy one ,, 1 you will look like idiot , 2 will take longer to learn , 3 you can not go fast , 4 you fell much more often , 5 they are expensive for what they are ,
FL is not a rangefinder lens. It's the second SLR mount developed by Canon, after the Canomatic R SLR mount and before the FD SLR mountt, which was an improvement of the FL, for this reason the FD adapters are good also for FL lenses, with identical film-flange distance of 42mm and the mechanics of the mount being mostly the same The rangefinder lenses have much smaller film-flange distances, not having a mirror between the shutter and the lens (For Canon is 28.8mm same as LTM L39 but with a different 39mm thread).

Hi Austin. Came across your video and seems very helpful. I will go home tonight and try out those settings. I have a question though. I am usually not to happy with my nighttime pictures. What do you recommend for nighttime pictures with and without city lights, also with and without flash for portraits. Finally what do you recommend for regular daylight pics. Thank you so much in advance.

100 dollars?! At our second hand I got one for about 12.5 dollars. Next day they have a cooler purple one in the window for 9.9 dollars XL. Why me. I wish I could cruise more easily. A great guy at our candy shop told me the biggest issue with cruising on a penny board is you have to stomp it 2 times then immediately again. It looses speed fast. Practiced in the basement with a smooth surface. Then when I got comfortable enough I tried outside on the newly paved walk way and I understand immediately what he meant. Not just does it loose velocity fast but DAMN that small size makes it a haunted house. Every uneven parts hits your legs and it feels in the entire board. Not even a minute on it and I could feel my lower legs tickle inside from the vibrations. And every single tiny pebble or rock gives me a heart attack. Hope I can get good enough to actually use it one day. My biggest problem is pushing then moving my foot back to the side. I quickly loose control when trying to move. And turning to the side my back is pointing is impossible for me right now. It's like my entire body is thrown to the side by the board.

Hey, I’m thinking of getting either the A1 or S3 for video and did want to do some slow motion- what makes the S3 better for slow motion ? Also have you had any issues with the A1 overheating ? Thanks

My rig is a Canon 5D mark iv (about to upgrade to the R6!), with a Tamron 45 1.8. All on a DJI Ronin RS2. I also use 4 Sony AX100's for stationary footage. I also believe in overly redundant backups. That goes for Audio (I mic the groom for my audio needs that captures Bride, Groom, and Pastor. I also plug into the DJ's board to record his aduio all night. And I have all stationary cams and my gimble capturing audio as last resort). I've been told I am going overboard for 1 person. I dont have a problem with the setup. That is of course until I get a DJ that isnt cooperating! I love it! Its me and my wife! We are a husband and wife Photography and Videography team. And if you don't mind me saying, I feel we are good at what we do! Feel free to check out my highlight videos. facebook.com/mullins.photography.tx

people get wet dreams for all new lenses in mirrorless cameras, to me the best part about mirrorless is not having to use first party lenses and instead buying vintage

I like to use a 50mm f1.8 by Canon and 45mm Minolta f2, however shooting pics of kids is hard since when they are open, it's super hard to get tack sharp eyes.

What kind of set up would you recommend for a documentary? I really like the idea of using a small rig with a handle. I'm not worried about the monitor. Also I saw you like the Sony digital shotgun mic. This is the first time I have seen it or heard about it. What would you recommend for a documentary for a on camera mic. I'm on a budget right now of 400 to either get a gimbal and shot gun mic or a small rig cage with a handle like yours and shot gun mic. Thank you

Cool stuff; I'm guessing the tilt/shift nikkor was actually a PC lens- the t/s lenses seem to be quite a bit more expensive. I've been buying old nikkors to use on a dslr but also because I can adapt them to my Sony. Two-fer !

I had 7,5 years Sony RX100IV and now I have RX100VA and I love it. Great photos, super nice slow motion and overall beautiful low light performance in video and photo as well. Thats why I think is better then mark VI. Awesome pro camera in innocent small body.
@esterix101 Жыл бұрын
I did exact opposite. Got VA as recommendation. Switched to VI because for wildlife, nature, with zoom, landscape and "macro", it works way better.
@MartinKopecky83 Жыл бұрын
@@esterix101 Yes, if do not need low light performance and instead you need zoom, then is better VI. I just dont need zoom and I prefer low light performance. Good luck.

You don't have zoom rings on that rail? You're missing out on a lot, kinda silly you would overlook that

just came across the video! Thanks for such great information. As a sony shooter and looking to purchase the A1 my concern is the quality of the 4k footage - full frame. I get the oversampled super 35 4k is gorgeous but would you say the FF 4k is good enough to stand on it's own. Curious as to how it'll match against my fx3 and fx6. Would I be better off just shooting it in super35 than FF at 4k? Thanks so much!
@AstralxProd Жыл бұрын
It's much better with detail and dynamic range than the fx3/fx6. I used to own the a7siii and sold it for the a1, the quality is a super noticeable jump.

Quick question: Is there a sort of "docking station" for cameras? I have a lot of things in want to plug into the camera, but Im having an issue where my hand keep hitting some of the stuff I have plugged in as I'm operating the camera I have a handle, but my left hand is still too close to the cords that plug in on that side, causing me to knock some loose or weaken their integrity.
