Thank you for the recipe! This is exactly what I was looking for! I make jam from strawberries, raspberries, marionberries, blackberries, and black currant. It is mashed berries and sugar only, in freezer. And my jam is very hard when it just from freezer or it really liquid from refrigerator. I definitely want to try this recipe with pectin. I like that you don’t add a water in your recipe and your sugar proportions. And the best thing - small pieces of strawberries!!!

Can eggplant be used with this sheet cutter? Do I need the extra attachments like the cucumber and zucchini?

Yes, you should be able to use egg plant. You shouldn't need extra attachments as the sheet cutter has everything you need together. I hope that helps.

I thought you meant things you can do with just the mixer - not having to buy multiple expensive extra attachments which is pretty obvious if you buy the grater attachment then you can then use it to grate!!! Misleading in my opinion.

6-12 months in the freezer. 1-2 weeks or more in the fridge. Ours gets eaten pretty quickly!

This is the third video I have watched on how to get more use out of your stand mixer and I have say.... very cool. Tried mixing the hamburger as opposed to doing it by hand and the results were a more evenly mixed burger with more evenly incorporated ingredients. I'm a subscriber.

I purchased one separately, but I have to say, I just replaced my 25 year old stand mixer with a shiny new yellow one! That one came with a splatter guard, and it's even better than the one I got separately a few years ago. Yes, I'm a big fan!

We use ours to shred meat for chicken/beef & noodles, I mix up my meatloaf & the egg mixture to my egg bake (the wisk is perfect for this part, makes it nice & frothy), & for the attachments, the spiralizer is my favorite, I use it for Mom's apple crumble & it's wonderful. We have the sheet peeler that Hubby got for making roll-ups.

Olive oil is 14 grams of fat per table spoon. A zero fat soup just became a 28 gram of fat soup. Use broth instead to sauté the veggies.

@@svwtsvfcb I understand and I agree. that said, I never cook with oil anymore, at least not while I'm losing weight. I've been eating up to 260 carbs a day (I exercise almost every day), keeping my fat below 30-ish grams per day (for the most part, regardless of the source of the fat, and I have been slowly but consistently losing weight. More importantly, I've been losing fat weight as opposed to water or muscle. Since February 2023 I've lost 20lbs or about 2lbs per month. It's been slow going but at this point the lifestyle change/new eating habits are in full swing. Once I hit my goal weight of 165, I'll return to a standard intake of fat 50 - 70 grams per day. Side note, I got my cholesterol down from 299 to 198 through diet alone. No meds. It's not perfect but certainly on the way. All that said, I love this recipe.

Healthy? Canned tomatoes and broth are very high in sodium. Sodium is the driving force behind heart disease in America. How about swapping out the canned tomatoes for fresh tomatoes and make your own broth/stock.
