In Australian, used cars with over 10 years or over 100k klms you get buggar all in regard to a warranty. It’s basically buyer be ware.

Great episode. Sam's a great character and listening in the car without seeing the screen his voice came over a bit Alan Partridge-esque/David Mitchell - "your Dukeness' 🤣 in the nicest possible way. Look nothing like them. All the best, think you'll go far!! Just subscribed to @WattsOnCourt

Ev ownership is so much easier. Just plugging in at home, is massively easier than going to pumps. My enyaq gets 350 range in summer, 280 in winter. 20000 miles only spent £4 away from home. Absolutely a no brainer, as full range costs only £5.50 at night, and Same rate applies to washing machine and dryer at night. Looks like oil companies have managed to convince easily persuadable folk, that they all burst into flames, the battery only lasts a few years, etc. none of which Is true. Stop believing trump, and look after your wallet.

Surely the good feeling from selling a car is what profit you’ve made and not putting someone in the right car I really don’t think sales people care what car as long as they get the sale

Try buying 20+ year old bikes, sellers who advertise a rust heap from the bottom of the garden "ran well last time I used it" last century judging by the last MOT.

If you live in a block of flats in the centre of a city, or on an old street of terrraced houses with no front yard, you are stuffed for charging at home. EVs are for affluent people, That's apart from having enough juice, if all cars were EVs.

These mentor podcasts have really kicked into gear now. Great to see Sam back of course. Hey Sam.. So guys, just before Christmas it was mentioned that you’d consider mentoring a start up in the new year. I’d like to throw my hat in the ring for that … I’ve started off with a few private sales and got myself office space and quotes on insurance etc. I’m effectively ready to take the plunge! I’ve also got a few ideas on how dealerships need to and can take back control of the industry. Briefly mentioned these ideas to Sam and James (Clever) Baggott, so I’ve been percolating these thoughts a bit and excited to share a disruptive approach. … gulp!

It’s great to see a slightly more serious Sam. His videos are so entertaining. He’d be great as a pub critic too. So glad to hear financially his business is doing well as his videos are light hearted and funny. James and Theo are a good double act but there’s always room for Dave’s contribution. Like James he goes all in balls n all with his advice. Laters

If you are going to try to make a living from cars that could make more money parted out, inevitably there will be people who are upset by spending a lot of money on something that is less than amazing, others will be realistic. It's not like that in the bad old days you could slap cover sills on a completely rotten car and sell it....

When I switched on my TV and seen that Sam was back on Motor Trade Mentors had to watch this , Sam brings so much fun to his KZbin channel and has a fantastic fun for the viewers . Obviously his main aim is to show his stock of cars to sell and he sells a lovely mixture of very well presented cars , but it doesn’t stop there he brings some exciting fun cooking the most amazing food for his children & partner the lovely Michelle , by god he can cook , along with that he went out and purchased a amazing home brew kit , that he let every one enjoy seeing him set it all up , honestly anyone reading this and wants a real bit of humour you must visit his channel , he has me sitting at home rolling with laughter and his followers of his channel you come away & can’t wait to see the next channel , I had the pleasure of meeting Sam when he was visiting his father near to where I live , sadly his dad passed away just before Christmas god rest his sole. It was in the first few weeks of setting up his channel and we had the most lovely chat over a few beers on what he was upto with the channel , a real down to earth guy is Sam. I promise you once you visit his channel you get hooked in. His channel is called (watts on Court) get over there and subscribe for some fun.
