But it’s not just about how it looks Mexico as a country is very beautiful and definitely worth the trip but only if it was a safe country that wasn’t controlled by murderous cartels, for instance literally the whole country’s country’s government is controlled by the cartel. It doesn’t seem like it’s a sovereign country almost like they’re held hostage.

DFW to MAD, September. Messed up the code-share tix. Lost our backpacks. Said would ship them to St. Jean Pied de Port the next day. Five days later, said they sent the bags to Toulouse for some unknown reason, and we'd have to take the 6 1/2 hour train, get the bags, stay the night, return to St. Jean the next day. Said they'd pay all expenses. Upon Toulouse arrival, were told the packs were sent to Mexico City but didn't know why. Pilgrimage canceled, returned home. AA charged upgrade. Bags arrived at our house a week later. IB paid $200 of our $1700 expenses. EVERY phone call w/ Customer Service over the episode provided information we had to depend on, but which was untrue. Yeah, this one is going to DOT arbitration. Your experience is different of course, but there seems to be a theme running through IB as a business entity.

My conclusion: if you are a tall or big person, choose premium (it's better than economy on other airlines) or don't fly. If you are a smaller person - it's a no-brainer.

My and I have flown Frontier Airlines, and it was the worst experience ever! We had a round trip from Vegas to Seattle, and on their website, they said to arrive 4 hours early to check in our luggage. When we arrived at the airport, TSA told us that we're too early and made us wait at the frontier line. My wife and I waited 4 hours because the employees showed up late! After that, they gave us our boading passes, and then we went back in TSA line until the TSA officer checked my wife's boarding pass, and the employee at Frontier messed up my wife's date of birth on it! TSA made us go back to Frontier so they can correct their mistake. I was so pissed that we cut the entire line, and the frontier employee who messed up my wife's boarding pass told us to go back. Then I told him, "I'm not going back in line because people kept short cutting us all morning, so it's our turn, and second, you've messed up my wife's date of birth on her boarding pass, and TSA told us to come back to you so you can fix it!" I stood my ground until the Frontier employee fixed my wife's date of birth. When we were in Seattle flying back to Vegas, we arrived 20 minutes early and I asked the lady who works at the Frontier counter that if she could check us in early, and she said, "No!" After 20 minutes went by, my wife and I went back in line. The same woman who rejected us told her coworker, "Do you see these two, you deal with them!" When my wife and I approached the desk, I told her coworker how rude she was, and we've heard everything she's said. I just looked at the rude woman and told her, "I'll send you a Christmas card." The look on her face was priceless 🤣 I didn't care if I insulted her because I'll never see that bitch again. That was my experience with Frontier.

As a Puerto Rican kid born and raised in Brooklyn and lived in the south Bronx how bad does it really get there bro ? I just wanna have fun and do touristy stuff and avoid issues. Although I would never sleep on a city for how safe they are and still be cautious about my surroundings I’m assuming Madrid is much safer than back home and their subway System as well. I do speak Spanish fluently so assuming it’s a bit easier for me to blend in and get around. I got so drunk in Paris France 🇫🇷 and Istanbul Türkiye 🇹🇷 and rode their trains back to my hotel right around midnight before they got closed (because they don’t have 24/7 subway system like us in New York) and no one messed with me at all. I actually felt safer on those 2 subway systems more so than here home in NY. I never been to Spain 🇪🇸 but I do hear things here and there about Madrid.

Exploring the local town on foot is my favorite thing about any port of call. In Costa Maya, there is no town outside the port. Once you have visited the port, there isn't much reason to go back unless you plan an excursion or buy a day pass to a water park or resort.

Mexico is Not dangerous what is Dangerous is traveling to a third world country and it is not like anywhere else put it in a simple way Bad service and you see the bad service is what sends you to the danger zone .
