This reminds me of Paul Salidino. That is when he went meat based. Added fruit changed his testosterone. I’m not saying you should do that but it does make me wonder. BTW congrats on your transformation & you twins 🥰

Years ago when i would get rotisserie chicken at costco, they were certainly delicious but i always felt grosse afterwards. I reckoned it was hormones in the chicken.

You’re doing great ! Great calendar idea. The check marks do add up quickly, nice that they’re for you not against you.

Instead of check marks use green marker for good days and red marker for bad days. It looks more motivating to keep the calendar looking green

I'm so inspired by you. I have about 30 lbs to go, and started 2 weeks ago. My big reason is to reduce inflammation, pain, and possible (undiagnosed) autoimmune disorder. Yesterday, when I was working out, and feeling unmotivated, I remembered your AWESOME video to keep going! I really think if we lived near each other, we'd be great friends! Stay the course!!

@carnivorecouple thank you! I just printed it out! Will you have more months available? I think this will help me.

I think you have a typo for your 1-year LDL. It says 34 mg/dL. With your total cholesterol below it saying 421 mg/dL, your LDL is likely around 340 mg/dL and not 34 mg/dL.

You are correct.

Two tips: 1) use burger paper or parchment paper on top of the burger when you smash it to prevent sticking. 2) must have a can of cream of mushroom soup (that you no longer need since you went carnivore) to press on your spatula for helping to flatten the burger. Yes it must be cream of mushroom. Although if i removed the label it may not matter.... :-)
@carnivorecouple2 күн бұрын
Thanks for the tips! I'll have to try that.

I went to buy a rotisserie chicken at Kroger. It had Yellow dye and maltodextrin. I thought it was very strange. We bought one at Whole Foods that had very little seasoning additives.

Will have to try the one at Whole Foods! Thanks

As a 1.5 year carnivore I'd never eat what was on your thumbnail. First, I've never once seen a fully cooked chicken that didn't have 20 ingredients I'd never purposefully consume on the label. Second, that chicken has stewed in overheated plastic which means it's chock full of carcinogens. I ain't rich either, but I can do better than that.

People often worry about the cost of going carnivore, but it absolutely works out. They don't realize how much they were spending on the boxed ultra-processed food that you find down the aisles in the middle of the store, and how little that food actually does to fill you up. Once you start shopping almost exclusively in the meat department, your meals are more filling and nutritious for less money!

I’m not coming for you for putting ketchup on your steak - I’m coming for you for eating it well-done!! 😂😂 Of course you need some sort of lubricant to get a well-done steak down!! 😂😂

Good job on cleaning your diet up and losing all that weight. It’s not as hard an many make it out to be. It just takes a little commitment. Only thing I’d say to be aware of is where your meat is coming from. A lot of those grocery stores are getting their meat shipped overseas from china or other countries. It’s gross and the meat is obviously low quality and full of God knows what. Try to find a local butcher/meat market who sells locally sourced, grass fed beef (never grain fed). It will be more expensive most likely but it’s the right way and it’s better for your family
