You couldn't talk me into trading my GWG-1000 for any dressed up version, although I do like the screw-down crown wheel that matches the buttons on the GWG-1000. Not that there's anything wrong with it's original version. I just like the protection the raised bumpers provide for the glass, much better than the GWG-2000. It's clunky, lumpy, practical, and beautiful. A precision instrument, built to take on ANYTHING.

Have the 2000,liked it until the time change for daylight savings, had hard time finding city,when I did it still would not adjust to proper time,not impressed

Heym the AUTORC remains off in my watch and it doesn't toggle to(ON/OFF) when I pull the crown and twist it. IS that a product problem or are there any additional things that I could do? Thanks in advance!

Easily the best tutorial I've ever watched. You go through the modes with demonstrations, so we can see how it all works. I loved how you went through the countdown timer and the autorepeat functions, most videos skim over it and don't even say if it has autorepeat. Thanks for the great video! 😁

hello guys. just another question: is it possible to have the total ascent + total descent using the altimeter mode? It seems no way. Even there is a way on the log of the gps navigation? it's strange that a 9400 has it and this high end Rangeman doesn't. thanks a lot

Great review Mr. Rangeman, I bought the exact same version, after wearing the GWG 1000-1A3ER for years. I like the design of this 2K. The functions are the same, but the design is much better. I like your reviews and the mudmaster series. And just a few days ago I saw the green GWG-B1000-3AER. I was looking for the red band version, but this green one is just perfect. It feels even more premium and robust. What do you think about this new Bluetooth mudmaster?

I wanted to get Garmin instinct 2x solar for myself but struggled to find one online in India. So purchased a G shock BB100.

Solar is great option in any hemisphere, as it charges the battery which will then last months.

Made in China, not attractive. I can handle made in Thailand, prefer made in Japan. But China known for slave and prison labor, the savings are not ever worth it. Make it in a state that is not the enemy of the West and I will consider it. HD means Huge Disappointment

The dramatic music for the glow was hilarious. I dont mind the backlight and my negative display, hell, I dont wear my rangeman much anymore (Garmin Instict 2x tactical now), but I may well mod the Rangeman now. I might clear out the small circle and, since mine is negative display, cut out and rotate the polarization JUST over the small circle so it is a positive display.

Great video, informative and entertaining! I currently wear my Rangrman GW-9400-1 and considering getting one of these for a more legible at a glance to read watch. What would you recommend as a highly legible G-Shock?

Trouble is, you can't get hold of any of these watches any more!!
