On approach, you didn't change the altimeter setting at FL70 from standard to QNH, or was the QNH the same, or am I missing sth?

Hello, how are you? I just wanted to ask for your help. It's been days since I bought the felis 747200 for x plane 11 but I don't know why every time I take off the plane and raise the landing gear, the hyd 4 qty falls and lowers itself, do you know why? I need your help thank you very much

On the real aircraft it’s also important to ensure the aircraft is parked slightly nose down on the ramp if fuelling for full tanks. It can mean the difference of 1000lbs of fuel.

Great video. My understanding is at 50 feet, RA, the ATS goes into RETARD mode. My question is does the ATS control the trust, at some specific schedule, if so, what do you do with the physical Bravo throttles at this point?

Just watched this again as it is go great. One question, I noticed at about 19:00 that the HL light is on for the right wing tank but not the left, even though they are both full. Is that a bug? After a minute or so, the right tank HL also goes off (after flashing for a bit). I was wondering where to get the 1.8 beta? Thanks Graham!

Flew CL650 again for the first time in about a year. Had to watch your videos again and it took me almost 2 hours to configure for one flight from Luton to Edinburgh! However, I still struggle to understand the VNAV in this aircraft. I'm sure I'll get the hang of how it works eventually. I have no trouble with A320 or B738.

Thanks for the work you do with the C650. Would some company's SOP have the oil refueled before the flight, or is it always done after the flight? I'm wondering if temperatures and viscosity might be a factor.

One question (absolutely not a pilot here). When you do the INS updating, after the aircraft corrects the course, I can then change to a different VOR on the panel, right? I noticed that when I change it, the updating stops. I'm guessing once the course is corrected, it's done and you can change the VOR frequency, is that right?

THERE are helicopters that do have trim. For example the Bo 105, BK 117 but also the Huges 269. They have a head button on top of the stick. The Huges works with two small motors. If your level is flying, but you have to use force (for example) to keep the stick moving forward. Then press the Head button slightly forward. The motors then ensure that the forces are removed from the stick and support the pilot. Then it is easy to fly with two fingers. That also sounds very similar to what you describe. The trim does indeed work differently than with fixed wing aircraft

A question: I can't quite read the CRS you have set for the localiser - it looks like it's been left at 000? I didn't pick up on you mentioning it in the video, so apologies if I missed it, but I've been setting the course to one that's in the charts - we have to do that, right? Thanks for your great videos - I recently bought the CL 650 and they got me up in the air comfortably (within a week lol)
@ReflectedRealitySimulations4 ай бұрын
Glad you're enjoying the Challenger. That's an interesting question! Short answer: No, you don't need to set the course, the automatic transfer will take care of that for you just like it tunes the frequency. Longer answer: In the very early releases of the Challenger this nav-to-nav transfer system was much more fussy, and had a load of arming conditions in there. As a result, I would have recommended that pilots prepare the "green needles" by setting frequency and course manually, then in the event nav-to-nav transfer didn't happen you could just click NAV SRC and it would swap to green needles. Now, on the current version this can still be valid - if you intend to transfer early to green needles manually then presetting freq and course is best. However the nav-to-nav transfer system is now much simpler, much more realistic and more reliable. The blue "ghost needles" will always show the correct course from the FMS database if you have an ILS approach loaded and are within a 30nm radius from the landing airport. When the aircraft swaps automatically to green needles they will match the blue needles perfectly.

@@ReflectedRealitySimulations Wow, thanks for the detailed answer. I'll give nav-to-nav another go, because yeah, I had been manually setting everything related to the localiser for all the reasons you've explained. Your attention to detail is inspiring!
