What about speed and cooling my friend? And temperatures? Some of the key points are missing, besides that, excellent video!

I wonder if you could make a bit that goes to the butterfly’s and make them work off the filament going though
@DesktopInventions5 күн бұрын
Oh that’s an excellent idea! Making the butterfly’s move with the retraction!

If you attempt it again perhaps you could add an extrusion bracket from the top of the printer with bearings to keep it central and pressed down on the bed, kind of like how a roller coaster bogie keeps the cars attached to the track, it could eliminate the need to glue on supports and support it when it leaves the bed.

Nice video! I think you missed some steps for taking some screws or removing tape. It doesn't affect the printing at all. Nice job! Love the video.

OMG! I was tightening pretty much every screw I could and the print head would still wobble. Great tutorial, you said me a lot of frustration.

thanks for the guide, but does the nozzle and or the type of filament changes the outcome of the print quality? Ive tried all the settings you provided here in the video but everytime i need a verry bright light to make it work. In some posts on Facebook ect some just keep their prints in front of a window and its great, if i keep my prints in front of a window even in full sunlight ... no light comes through, im a bit at a loss lol

How have you got on with this, I've just ordered a CR-30. Do you think it's a decent machine?
@DesktopInventions11 күн бұрын
It’s decent but the quality is not super great. It’s good at what it can do which is long parts that other printers cannot.

Thanks for the great tutorial. In my case: 120-24.6=95.4, 100/95.4=1.048, 1.048*93(for stock E3V2)=97.48

Nice work, but i got a problem with that;/ After creating new mesh it makes first point, and go to second, but then needle of 3dtouch dont touching bed and it says "leveling complete". U knot how to repair that?
@DesktopInventionsАй бұрын
That’s quite strange, is it possible your z stop is too high or your bed is too low so it can’t reach the bed? That would be mechanical related. If it’s not mechanical i would re load all the firmware to see if it’s firmware related.

Hey do you need to change settings in your firmware for the orbiter v2?
@marklaforest88042 ай бұрын
This is all fine and dandy but let me ask this. Why does it seem my Ender 3 choose a different z axis each time I turn on or try to print a different from SD card. Then when I run bed level it is way off then try to print won't stick. Run bed level again and way off but back the other direction. Then print will stick with a 50/50 chance if needing glue stick.

So I did as you said but when I print it doesn't work because it's thick and light can't pass through so I end up with nothing. Any tips?

I think that this gives a realistic view of the typical product development cycle. What's somewhat rare is the apology, walking through how the initial failure happened with full disclosure/methodology behind the fix, and then pushing the info out to the community. The only way to avoid this is to product test for 30+ hours for reliable R&D, but this ain't a large corporation like Gantri or EEVE with large budgets.

The blue one that broke, not only had the weak spot, that print looked weak, I understand it has to be lights, but for those aplications, but it should be thicker and almost solid. At least, that's what I found for my designs
