So beautiful. I want to do this build and customize a few things to make it my own. But it seems you really need a laser cutter to do those precise cuts and other tools like table saw, etc. I wish I could buy those tools to do this. GREAT VIDEO SIR! SO AMAZINGLY AWESOME AND PRETTY LOOKING!!!!!!!!!!
@mxcbuilds66335 күн бұрын
Thanks! Yeah a laser cutter is really needed for this one. I have a few other earlier designs before I got the laser which may be of interest to you, feel free to check them out as well ☺️

I have a dumb question, im not as educated on the subject as you are probably… but how safe would you say the build is with high heat such as 90 Celsius?
@mxcbuilds66338 күн бұрын
While the PC parts may get to 90C that's the core temperatures. The heatsinks and air moving around in the computer will not be getting anywhere near 90C. In addition to this, the auto ignition temperature of wood is about 300C. Therefore, there is little risk that the wood will ignite from the PC running

Where the parts are grounded ? Because the wood does not conduct electricity
@mxcbuilds663312 күн бұрын
Each connected component has ground wires linking them back to the PSU, which is grounded when plugged into the wall
@davidcsoka423411 күн бұрын
@ yes of cours this is for the black wire but there is a main ground which is the green/yellow for the case

Haha I like to think it's not too bad. The balcony faces a very busy street with trams travelling along it. So the apartment was built with very good sound insulation when the balcony sliding doors are closed. I am careful to plan my work so that I only have to use the loud machines during day time hours and save the non noise activities (hand tools, painting etc) for the nights. This is also a big reason I have not started to make my cases for commission as it would increase the frequency of my work significantly. Currently making 2-3 new cases a year means there isn't constant noise every day/week.

For bending the wood you have the cut lines, and they are touching but still visible. You can use wood glue+the fine dust from sanding to make it completely unvisible. Nice build like it!
