I'm looking forward to reading Josh Williamson's G.I. Joe, as I feel like he's one of the few comic writers today who still understands most characters (see his Damian Wayne and Green Arrow series).

Fernando pasarin was on green lantern corps before and after the new 52. Solid artists and one of the definitive interpretations of Guy Gardner for me. Definitely recommend reading his past work on GLC.

As a fan, I walked away from the big 2 back in the early oos. Long live indy comics, this is the same problem that's destroying tthe MCU, tone, audience, quality & craft. The editors of both corps are chasing a fantom audience & have abadoned the ips target audience straight males. The Ips are for straight males. Power fantasy & scifi. Oh welll, spend my flow on some else of quality for a better price point like Manga. Great commentary.

Yes, Jason Aaron isn't your typical hack no talent. He is a some-talent willing to make exceptionally bad storytelling choices. I also feel the same about Krypton. Nothing and no one can make it not boring, which is really weird to think about.

It's crazy and cool to see Space-Ghost succeed. Many people consider Alex Toth as one of the all time greats but his IPs haven't transitioned well if at all to this point, and then this (space-ghost) is picked up by a creator that many don't have the highest regard for (some do like his prior work) and he seems to have found something he knows perfect. I think Space-Ghosts origin story is one of the best simple origin stories for any superhero I have ever read. I can't wait to see the future of this IP and hope it expands and goes on for some time. It may have the power to "make all his other creations relevent" (not like they ever weren't) to the modern audiance - I think its the kind of IP that could perminently stamp Pepose's name with Hama (g.i.-joe) and the like.

The second issue of PKJs Batman and Robin series absolutely kicked ass this week, am loving that series so far. Have been super busy with work this week though, so transformers, GI Joe and green lantern are still sitting on my to be read pile, looking forward to getting into those tomorrow, especially hyped for Williamson finally being back on energon stuff!

You guys should check out the Goon mini series. It is very good and strikes a good balance of comedy horror and drama. TF 14 was good, but I wish it explored the back story of Starscream a bit more. I was surprised that his "alliance" with the Mars group ended so soon (and in brutal fashion), but at least the combaticons are reunited Hopefully DWJ won't kill them off like he did with the others.

I’m enjoying Transformers and SG too but I’ve got a feeling they’ll be featuring Orange villains in the near future. I hope I’m wrong though.

I do blame the Stephanie Williams, Mags, Vita, etc., as well as the Marvel and DC editors. Ok it's clear they'd rather make slice of life comic strips, but if you're hired to make super hero comics, then you gotta do that, stories with action, adventure and super heroing, not frickin slice of life stories with superheroes, but they don't want to even put in the effort of learning how to do that well

Here here! Great Alan Scott moment! Green Lantern is the high point for me. Definitely in my top 10 of the year. G.I. Joe right behind it. Also, Transformers, Action Comics, Absolute Batman. Pretty solid week, unless you’re a Marvel fan.

For Action Comics, I like that Clark and his parents Jor-El and Lara defied the Science Council for attempting to confiscate the Phantom Zone Projector before Jor-El and Lara secretly and successfully stole parts of the Phantom Zone Projector, surprising and impressing Clark. My only criticism of this comic is seeing Kara (a version of her from before Krypton’sd destruction) here, since she’s supposed to be bore after Krypton’s destruction and Argo City’s survival (just like pre-Crisis). Also, Aeythr attempting to take over the earth. Aside from that (along with the Conner and Kenan backup, which shows them dealing with the Khunds), this comic is great! For the Supergirl backup, the only good thing about this is seeing the Super-Twins Starchild and Red Son defeating the Ultra-Humanite and Clark telling Karen that Kara is in space and that she’s needed. The rest is Kara learning what her prisoner did, which should’ve been explored more. Overall, this backup is okay. For the Perry White backup, I like that Perry took a walk in Metropolis to reminisce about his entire life since he started working at the Daily Planet before he told Clark that things are going to be different if he becomes the mayor of Metropolis. The missed opportunity should’ve shown him reminiscing his experiences as a reporter starting with him meeting Clark Kent Superboy in his early years to his entire pre-Crisis Earth-One/New Earth/Prime Earth history all the way up to the present. I also like that the Daily Planet release the results of the election, which is Perry winning as the mayor of Metropolis. Hope we get to see him as Mayor in later Superman books. Overall, this backup is great. For Batman and Robin, I like that Bruce and Damian were able to free themselves and others from a fire in ten seconds before Damian learned about his grandfather Thomas by Bruce. I feel bad that Damian saw someone got hurt and that there is nothing for him to do except for relying on someone to save her. Also, Bruce telling Damian about Memento. Overall, this comic is good. For Green Lantern, I like that the entire Green Lantern Corps (including Alan, Hal, John, Guy, Kyle, Simon, Jessica, and Jo) were able to save Kelli from being harmed and freed Mogo from being consumed by the Red Lantern with Sinestro’s help. Also, the return of Kyle as the White Lantern. Hope that they will be able to defeat Lord Tharros and save the corps by the next issue. Overall, this comic is great! For Black Lightning, I like that Jefferson told Lynn everything about Absolute Power and the consequences of that event before he goes to work as Black Lightning, including meeting a new meta human named Issac Mitchell, interacting with Superman at the new Watchtower, and realizing what happened to Anissa because of her powers. The surprising thing about this comic is Anissa and Grace Choi breaking up off-panel (although it’s unnecessary for them to break up). Overall, this comic is onto a good start. For ASM, I like that Peter tried to get his life together (although it won’t last because writers and editors refuse to have Peter grow up and have responsibilities) before he was given powers by Doctor Doom to defeat Cyntros as the Spider Supreme. Overall, this comic is interesting, onto a good start, and better than the Zeb Wells run. For SSM, I like that Peter and Miles (and the rest of their cast) tried to help their friend Julia on how to control her powers and discover what she is with help from Kamala Khan and NYX, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm, Hydro-Man, and Champion’s Viv Vision. Also, the two Electros meeting each other. My only criticism is the whole Miles and Kamala romance tease, which is (in my opinion) unnecessary since Miles is with Tiana and has a good friendship with Kamala. Overall, this comic is good. For Deadpool, I like that Ellie met and interacted with Valentine Vuong, who told her that her what happened to her and Wade’s relationship, before they and Princess all worked together to try and bring Wade back so that Ellie and Princess can have their dad back and Valentine can have closure while dealing with villains and MODOK. Also, Taskmaster trying to handle dealing with the mercenary business, becoming Ellie’s mentor and coach, and realizing that being a mercenary is the easy part. Overall, this is good and hilarious!

I actually love G.I. ARAH #1-8. Cool military action, and they tended to alternate Cobra with more realistic threats like Soviets and militias.

What i hate the most is that there's a lack of variety now I hate how they just stop Eternals comic book. Where are they now? Who cares right? Here's an X Men, Spider Man and Venom book. I swear X Men, Spider people, Symbiotes, Wolverine, Deadpool are the bane of my existence right now It's painful for Marvel fans who demand variety. Now? Everyone is a mutant, Spider people or having a fucking symbiotes. I'm sick of this shit. I mean, with the amount of money Marvel hoarded from their character that they own without giving a penny to the creator, you would think that they would take risk a little but nope. Here's an X Men book, they sell. No matter how shitty the writting is

Funny, I've always said that some comic book writers write like they're tweeting, I didn't think it could be so true. As usual jokes come true with these people. Think of all the artists who go around bringing their portfolios for a chance to work at Marvel and DC only to have to draw the stories these people write.
