I seen good videos where was punching the holes on two pieces of leather separately, but here is good example how to punch holes on both pieces at the same time which makes alignment much easier.

I absolutely love your videos. You are so good at teaching. Please could you let me know what size and type of awl blade that you use? I’ve had a look at the awl that you use, but I don’t know which blade to choose.. Thank you so much.

I’ve watched tons of videos on saddle stitching, and I’ve learned something from every one of them. But this video is the first one to explain pulling the thread in different directions to tighten it and get that signature \\\\ pattern. Thank you!!!!!❤

Thr rounding block's made in pairs. clamped together so holes of useful diameters can be drilled along the centre line.

Happy to have found your Channel. A new_one to this craft. To bad you have not opened up a Amazon Account for the USA. Question: How do you sharpen your tools (especially the Edge Skiving edge cutting tool)? I have a few pages of notes from your 101 Tutorials and have tools on the way, based on your tutelage 🙂 I (years ago) spent 3 yrs in the UK, seen from Loch Ness to Ely and did the Hovercraft from Dover to Calais France (round trip of course), wonderful life time experience.

Hi. I tend to buy leather in packed pieces. Would an A4 size be enough? Thanks
@JHLeather
@JHLeather 28 күн бұрын
A single bit of A4 would be a bit small, for the laser version, I cut my leather 43cm x 25cm, there is room left over on that but so long as it is a min of 23cm you should be fine.
@JHLeather
@JHLeather 28 күн бұрын
I just checked my patterns on some A4 sized leather and you will need 3xA4 pieces for this wallet.
