I'm not trying to be an ass hat here, but WTF is the point of a tiny camper? I can spread a tarp and get all of the benefits of a chuckwagon (or open my SUV's rear door). My tent is dry as a bone in heavy rain. What's the point of these tiny campers? Again, I'm not trying to be a negative Sally. Please tell me why I should have one of these instead of a tent and tarp, or an A-liner. Much appreciated.

It's kind of hard to see the beauty of them until you take one out. Basically, tiny campers are people who Camp more than your average camper. These people over time have a camping honeymoon that wears off. The packing, unpacking, wet trips, drying out canvas and tarps. The shuffling of items when getting home, typically is the deal breaker. Wouldn't it be nice if I just had a space where all my camping gear went and I didn't have to set up things at Camp or tear them down. Wouldn't it be nice if I could spend that extra time at Camp just having fun outdoors. And if I want to feel like a boy scout and build my outdoor living room with tents and tarps and be a boy scout I can. But if I show up to Camp late at night, in the rain, or just inconvenienced by something I can just jump right into my bed and go to sleep. In the morning if it's raining and I have to break down camp, no worries. Just hitch it back to my vehicle and go home. Basically, for most of us this is just a bed on Wheels that acts as additional storage. Most of us who own these tiny campers still go backpacking, still use tents, still do that lifestyle. But there's times we want more. Our family stays out in these 3 months at a time and we love it. I'd have a hard time convincing my family to do that under a tarp or out of the back of a vehicle. So it's the little things that really add up. But at the same time many people would benefit from a simple tent, tarp, SUV setup over one of these. I don't think it's for everyone. It's a big investment. It requires a place to store them, a requires towing something. There's definitely trade-offs.

Where the bubbles are, make that area pour again. Break up the paint a bit, maybe run a spiky roller on the area. Take a wide gauge needle syringe, and inject the glue behind the now pour fiber. Apply pressure in that area with something larger than the bubble and NON STICK. You will not get back whatever you applied to it. Allow area and glue to cure per package process. Sand. Repeat. And paint to match.

In Europe, we live in houses, and have free healthcare. It's totally fascinating to look at the third world across the pond where people live in trailers, don't have healthcare, and vote for fascists to be the head of state.

Is $30K affordable for a 13'?
@PlayingwithSticks
@PlayingwithSticks 14 сағат бұрын
If you're comparing it to other fiberglass trailers.... Don't quote me on this because it's been a long time since I've looked, but if you get like a 13-ft scamp which is the most affordable out the door, they're typically like 23 Grand I think. But that's been years after covid everything went up. So who knows now. So yes, it's actually pretty affordable. When they first came out they were much higher priced than everyone else, but happier camper has kept the same prices while everyone keeps going up and so they're really not that outrageous in terms of price.

I think these guys are about to release one. You have one from runaway called the rouser I believe. I always get their model names mixed up. And then you have a number of them from a company called rustic trails. And then bends teardrops just came out with their new one called the tall boy.

Great video I would like a light weight that I could stand up in. I do not want to crawl around. The best part of a tear drop, in my opinion only, is the rear galley. No so much anything else.
@PlayingwithSticks
@PlayingwithSticks 15 сағат бұрын
If you want that galley, but standing height look at t@b trailers and you're looking for the clamshell models. It's kind of confusing when you look at their trailers for the clamshell they're annotated as CS.

Pretty cool $12.8k base price is a bit spendy for me but I am inspired and for that, thank you. Im looking to build a pod to to move between any trailer and most truck beds. Not really a product, not really marketable, so ill have to make it myself 🤷🏻‍♂️. Great video 👍🏻

I think he tried to over sell in my opinion! It’s a bad ass teardrop! And that’s the way he needed to sell it! In a bad ass way 😂. Seriously!! I would have sold that sht so bad ass! Put a rifle on the side! Hook up a dirt bike and I would have demonstrated it all in a bad ass way lol. Some people feel they need to sell items in a professional way. Try being “bad ass pro”

I get not leaving your jewelry box and your new Nikon, but all camping gear is expensive. IMO having to actually break in is a mental escalation that thieves of opportunity might want to avoid. I think I want a lock on the door.

Nice, the only problem I see is the AC placement. I have a camper that I built 10 years ago and put the AC at floor level. I knew at the time it might not be a great idea because heat rises and that is exactly our issue. The cold air constantly recycles so the compressor doesn't stay on long enough to remove the humidity. We use a fan to help but it doesn't help much. I think about the only way I could improve it is to run a duct from the ceiling down to the ac intake. Just something to think about.
