Hi I enjoy your reviews, but putting a bag on the rear cyclerack is a paine it is in need on 1 or 2 bars else the ropes will slide and become loose . Do you have a suggestion? Pls

I have a 2023 kawasaki KLR650. Garage kept. 1,100 miles. One owner. I'm looking to trade for a TW200! Im not doing long trips anymore due to a career change. Low miles because i haven't gone on a trip with this one yet. My past klr had 15,000 miles. TW200 will be perfect with my new lifestyle. Going to load it up and take with me. The KLR is too big for a hitch carrier and the kind of riding im doing now.

Wow! only found this because I was comparing on Kawasaki's website for a larger bike because of the suspension, then I saw that it had adjustable rear spring and immediately went to google! thank you so much man, hope you have a great one.

- Length - Width - Height "Heighth" is not an English word.
@MOBStreet835 күн бұрын
"The American Heritage Dictionary reports that "heighth reflects the spelling of the Old English word from which it sprang." Lots of folks have commented on me saying that. So, I have since changed my ways and don't use heighth any more. I hope the video still helped in answering questions about the bikes.

Had over a dozen bikes in my time, and 3 T-Dubs.... Only Brand New Bike I have ever owned was a 1999 Ninja ZX9r. The sales man was shocked I put 32,000 miles on it when I went in for my 1 year service. He said he sold 6 that year, and mine was the only one to come back -Not Crashed! Love that new bike feeling! Good Long Miles to ya Euro Boy!
@MOBStreet836 күн бұрын
That is a lot of miles in one year on a motorcycle! I will always have a TW, they are one of my all time favorite bikes. Isn't Euro, like Europe? Since this is a British bike.......wouldn't I be a Brit boy now?

2 Questions. How much better is the scrambler 400x acceleration compared to the TW200? If you could only keep one bike, the Scrambler or TW200?
@OGkush69x7 күн бұрын
Bump
@MOBStreet836 күн бұрын
Hey @AmeenHaider Thanks for watching and for the comment! The Scrambler has much better acceleration than the TW200. It really isn't even a comparison. For me, if I were to keep only one, I would keep the TW200. A lot less to go wrong on the bike, I like it more off road than the Scrambler for trails and things. It isn't as fast or as strong or as good on the street as the Scrambler, but it is a tough reliable motorcycle.

I agree with pretty much everything you have to say about the TW except; I do more road miles on mine than offroad miles, and I agree, the front tire is best as new and gets worse with mileage. I have another rear tire (for another bike) on the front and it's so agressive I had to get used to it, BUT I can practically scrape the pegs making turns. I did a 15 tooth sprocket on the engine and 3 less teeth on the wheel and the gearing is perfect. I was cruising today on the open road at 70 mph. I drilled the carb jets, etc and modified the original exhaust and otherwise made no other mods to the bike. It's great! There's a reason why Yamaha has been making this model for 37 years! My favorite bike among over 40 motorcycles!

Are you riding off road only? My TW is off road only and not registered for highway use.

If you are camping there, its all dirt. But, you should check in with Matt and ask specifics.

Where we will be is all dirt. IF, you want to ride to Eureka one day to stop for lunch, you are only on the pavement for about a mile. I don't think you'd have any issues.

Hi Matt. A while back I think before the new model TW 200 came out I think it was the 2023 you ask what people wish what kind of improvement Yamaha should make on the TW. There was fuel injection, 6 speed, more power, bigger tank with fuel gauge, Better sounding exhaust, more comfortable seat and on and on. I think Triumph was reading the comments and built the Scrambler 400X. Put some wider knobby tires on this thing and you have an improved TW 🐐 Just kidding, or maybe not...

I bought an 86’ Honda XL250R just like the one seen at the beginning of the video brand new from the dealer in 86’. My son has it now. It has had hardly anything done to it. Still fires up and rides well.
@user-vk7bt2vw4r11 күн бұрын
I am on the short side too but have a WR250R. Its an excellent dual-sport bike but so dang tall. I've done a few minor mods to make it about 2 inches or so shorter but still a bit tall when things get dicey. The TW's stance is attractive. The XT is also good alternative as it is about the same as the TW. I don't think I'll be trading in my WR anytime soon but knowing what I know now, I think I would have considered the seat height issue a little more seriously. As I'm getting older, I see how the TW will be a good alternative for me to keep in mind. Thanks for your videos.
@MOBStreet8311 күн бұрын
That WR is a great machine! I don't know, you might now like the power of the Tdub or the XT after coming off the WR! 😂 Honestly, I love my TW200 cause of how low the seat is and how bulletproof the bike really is. I like that I can slow down and take it all in with the TW though. I have taken it all over the place and love all that it can do. The bike isn't limited, I am with my riding abilities. 😀

Hey John! I am sure it can be.....somehow. The rear suspension is adjustable and that might help a bit. However, with how popular this bike is already, all over the world, I think we are going to see a lot of aftermarket mods for it.
