Forgot to mention for beginner lifters, I would advice doing your research and wait a little before training your neck as starting to soon and without proper knowledge will increase likelihood of you getting injured or worse.
@akenoicap8512Күн бұрын
For me, top 3 are shoulders (all heads), back (wide & thick), and chest (specifically upper chest).
@100kejimaedaКүн бұрын
One thing you need to know about abs. You need to have low body fat in order to show defined abs. If you look at skinny people, they always have abs. And you should add a pre caution for newer people to not over train neck because it’s dangerous. I injured my neck and got constant head aches or migraines, luckily I didn’t got paralyzed or worst. Do research on neck exercises first to prevent injury and stay safe.
@Derick04Күн бұрын
Somewhat disagree with the abs, if you train abs you it’ll show through at a higher body fat %, strong men are a very good example of this and fitness KZbinrs like Natural Hypertrophy and Alex Leonidas also prove if you train abs you can still see them at 15-18% BF. However you’re right about the neck training part.

From what I see, black women, Latina or any women date and marry white guys who are actually outgoing or if they are really introverts, they have a good personality. No self-respecting woman is gonna date a bum, creep or hateful person regardless of color. Asian men who are with white white women usually are more outgoing and fun and have the same mentality. Despite the preconceived narrative that media is selling, even Asian women date white guys who may look nerdy or basic but, I guess, they have a good personality, and are not bums or hateful.

Bro i don’t think you’re a bad person but i have one critic 1. If you eat right,train properly consistently you will grow muscles no matter what genetics. Admit that the first two years you weren’t consistent. Positive: never settling for mediocre, very articulate on how you speak , you seem like like a person who wants genuine change and inspire others
@Derick042 күн бұрын
Thank you for the feedback, i think when it comes to consistency is really depends on an individual level as there were weeks were I didn’t train at all.
@FlamesSake2 күн бұрын
What you said about having realistic expectations is so true. I used to watch Coach Greg, and he always preached about having realistic expectations. That advice took away my motivation for going to the gym and pushing myself. It was the great expectations that got me started in the first place, so I’m conflicted. Good video though!
@Derick042 күн бұрын
Thank you bro, from my own experience its best to be unrealistically realistic if that makes sense. Set goals that are slightly higher but ones in which that are still possible to achieve at the same time.

I am trying to get jacked it is taking longer then I thought but I am cutting then going into a year long bulk so I hope my results will skyrocket on the bulk. I started 10 months ago and have lost 20kg so bulk phase is soon I have started doing weighted dips so hopefully that and JM press will help grow the triceps faster. Tiktok has defs ruined peoples perception of natural lifters. When i was starting i made a tiktok and ofc I got hate for how I looked I am slowly looking better. I was skinny fat so I had to cut first
@Derick043 күн бұрын

Japanese 32 year old, here. I always reject the collective and choose to live life on my own individual terms. My blood relatives and alot of people around me didn't take kindly to that, especially considering that my parents are religious nuts. I even had to learn martial arts at a very young age, because there were instances where some blind patriot sheep would literally try to physically fight me, because of the old collectivist idea of "if you refuse to conform, then we will force your hand, by any means necessary." I was always told that I'm "selfish" and "entitled" because i reject the notions of "you must abide by the same beliefs as your parents, otherwise, you're SeLfIsH," "you must marry within your own race, otherwise, you're SeLfIsH," "you must have children, otherwise, you're SeLfIsH," "you must let your parents choose your career, otherwise, you're SeLfIsH," "you must take over the family business, otherwise, you're SeLfIsH." At 18, I chose to leave Japan and move to Canada to live on my own. Needless to say, my individualism is not treated with disdain or animosity here, as it is in the East. I have a great paying job that allows me to live on my own and a large circle of friends who accept me. It's great to see more Asians reject the collective and embrace the individual.
@obitouchiha64394 күн бұрын
Also, another important thing that needs to be addressed: It's NOT anybody's job to make their parents feel proud. Their ego is not their offspring's burden to bare.

This is also something I've noticed recently. White dudes naturally have wider necks and so even for those who don't lift, they still look muscular somehow.
@Derick044 күн бұрын
Part of it is definitely genetics, but since this video has come out I’m starting to think things like our environments and diet also play a role in terms of our muscular and overall body development.

The traps and neck muscles aren't as much of an issue compared to their terrible glute genetics

@@TALYJIMMY my bad. I’m taking it from an extreme standpoint and making that claim based on the top bodybuilders at the Olympia. For whatever reason, there never has seemed to be an Asian that’s been a serious contender for the Olympia title. Many analysts in the sport say it’s due to Asians poor glute and iffy back genetics

Bro... This is such a refreshing perspective. I've never would have thought of neck training for a thicker overall frame. Man, I'm adding this to my routine, thank you for this. Us eastern Asians do have a skinner frame, I already am training traps and forearms to make myself pop out more when wearing a t shirt but you're so right about the neck training.
