Johnny here is my question? Riders get paid apperance fees so the promoter can use there name/brand to sell tickets correct? So if the event is already sold out what promoter on this planet is going to give an apperance fee of reportedly 6 figures after the event is sold out? Sure Deegan camp may have had an offer which was rescinded, the fact of the matter it was always going to be this way as the event was already sold out why? Because the promoters weren't going to be able to use his name to sell tickets...... it really is that simple Brian knows this is how it works he's an astute business man and been at it for a long time. Are they disappointed...... hell no, Are they pissed about not getting paid...... hell no. They are happy because it puts focus on team Deegan while simultaneously discrediting this event and thier biggest rivals in this space. Let's face it who was Deegan even racing not one of his main championship rivals is riding wheres his competition coming from he's more likely going to be injured by someone doing something stupid because of a lack of experience than he is to gain any actual benifit.
