A hydraulic work table...how wonderful!! ❤❤❤You have the most impresive workshop ive ever seen, it's almost like a surgical suite and your skill is prodigious. You are inded a master of your craft, with old and new tools, which was a pleasure to watch. VERY nicely done, sir!

Beautiful work. What type of solvent did you use that took all the gunk away except for the painting?

The painting was covered with a second coat of paint. I used a commercially available paint stripper. But you need a bit of experience for this job. It depends on the temperature, the exposure time and how hard you rub with the steel wool.

Thank you for watching my video. For the finish I use a hard wax oil.The high hardener content makes the oil resistant to mechanical wear.

Es ist ein Frevel, nein ein Verbrechen, so ein Möbelstück mit irgendwelchen Lacken zu überstreichen. Danke das du den Schrank gerettet hast. 🎉 eine kleine Kritik muss aber sein. Niemals einen weißleim verwenden. Beim beizen wird der Leim sichtbar. 😢 verwende stattdessen Knochenleim oder Hautleim, so wie Fischleim 😊

Beautiful work, the counter top is a work of art by itself. The way you incorporated the various parts to a well integrated whole, excellent design work. I am curious after watching European videos, is your walnut lumber generally light in color? Here in the US our walnut is very dark brown.

Es ist so schön zu sehen, wie eine fachgerechte Restauration gemacht wird! Früher (vor y-tube) konnte man darüber nur Mutmaßungen anstellen. Und jetzt weiß ich endlich auch, wie das mit dem Entwurmen geht. Bei anderen Altmöbelrestaurationen fehlt dieser Teil nämlich immer, und ein paar Fragen dazu blieben bislang ungeklärt...

Hello, thank you for your comment. At 24.55 you can see the heat chamber in which the cabinet is heated up. This kills all the parasites.

Tolle Arbeit wie immer. Der Sockel ist dir super gelungen. Die leeren "Kartuschen" auf der Vorderseite, waren die mal zum individuellen Ausmalen bestimmt? Ich kenne solche Schränke wo diese mit den Portraits eines Hochzeitpares ausgemalt wurden. Gruß

Wieder bin ich begeistert. Im Geiste kann ich den Geruch des alten und wieder verwendeten Holzes spüren. So einen ( manchmal etwas staubig-muffigen) Geruch hat neues, frisch aufgeschnittene Holz nicht.

Ich bewundere bei dir immer die Leidenschaft zur Detailarbeit, um notwendige Ergänzungen mit der Substanz fast unsichtbar zu verschmelzen. Dadurch ist wieder ein Möbel entstanden, dem man sein Alter ansieht, aber nicht dessen Gebrechen. Ein Stück in diesem Alter ist den nötigen Aufwand allemal wert.
