Congratulations Lindsey! We just had Halloween last night. We had 201 kids this year. It varies year to year. We live in a subdivision with over 200 houses so it's crazy. I hate the time change.

I love watching your videos. My sister lived in Nova Scotia for many years. I loved visiting her there. One year we spent several weeks camping the Cabot Trial. My niece is still in. Halifax. My sister lived in. Lunigburg (sp).

Your supper sounds delicious. When I make chicken I usually make dumplings with it 😊. The blondies looked yummy. I've made them. My husband took out the kids early and they had a good time even though it was raining a bit. I had 14 kids show up. I never get that many because we live on a dirt road with basically just farms. So I mostly get the neighboring people living on this road. We roast our pumkin seeds also. I puree the pumpkin and freeze it for loaves and muffins. I love your channel and Elizabeth really likes to see your girls on video. She's always saying that she wants to say hi lol.😊 She's 6. Have a great weekends 😊

@@canadiankabingurl9782 thanks Dyann! I made soup yesterday with the leftover chicken and I thought, I should have put dumplings in it!! I haven't made dumplings in sooo long!! My sour dough starter hasn't been doing so well, I'm assuming the weather change, although it's been warm here. We had almost 70, trick or treaters last night, we ran out of treats! We had to give some of the kids stuff out!! Lol we have a couple pumpkins that we didn't carve, so I think I will roast them and freeze the pumpkin too!! Say hello to Elizabeth from all of us!! I think I was one of your first subscribers and I've loved every video you've made sharing your days, and recipes and especially your wonderful family with us, I've truly enjoyed getting to know you and yours. your dinner looked so delicious, I have a rotisserie chicken coming from Walmart in a food delivery today so I think we will be having that for dinner tonight, or maybe a frozen pizza, but chicken sounds so good. It sure looked like you had a fun time with the cousins hunting for pumpkins and carving them. We only had a few kids come to our door last night, we have so much candy left, ugh, we have no idea what to do with all the leftovers. Congratulations on reaching 5k -very well deserved. I love your videos and how engaging you are! Also that sign your family made you when you reached 500 is just too adorable! How kind. Your supper looked sooooooo good! The blondies as well. I make something similar called 'cookie cake' I too find spreading it the hardest part. What I do is plunk the dough in the pan and then with clean hands (of course) I lightly wet my hands so they are damp and then go and 'tap and spread' on the top. The dough doesn't stick to my hands because they are slightly wet and I am able to get it to the edges easy-peasy! Your Halloween treat bags were huge! Wish I were a kid trick or treating at your place! And the older cousins must have been such fun for your kids! All the cousins my kids have are much older too and they were in awe of them when they were young-now my boys are 18 and 20!!!

Congrats on your 5K subscribers!! I've been here for some months now and really can't pinpoint my addiction to your channel. Don't take that wrong lol! i think it is a combination of just the real life, the kds, seeing someone doing their best for them and how nice they are, and also a bit of just seeing the difference in Canadian products, prices, etc. versus here in the U.S. I like "real" people also. Please don't ever get fake or "put on" because for me that's a turn off if I start picking up on such. Or too produced. Just my preference anyhow, I'm sure others have their things or reasons. I've had some I've watched for years that are turning me off where the kids seem rehearsed and all does and it bums me out because I USED to love them. I guess to sum it up, I just like a day in the life of good and real people kind of things. Again, CONGRATS!
