The virtually inphallible Phil Zero phooled by The Warning! 😁 Very interesting look into your process, always impressive. 🙌 and, phlex!💪and, Rudy!🤘 Didn't realize you smoked your weed in BC!😂 You need to check out the young hard-rocking band Freeze the Fall from Kelowna. Supported by several members of TWA and inspired by The Warning, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, etc. Try "Daughters of Witches." ❄️🤘❄️

Phil, besides doing amazing analysis of my current favorite band, with all the in-deep take out you do, you're helping me to build my dream of having my own "new viejitos" band..!!! Happens that I'm a 47 guy who plays drumms and at some point even was in a rock band for a little time. Now, because of Ale, I'm learning to play bass 🎸 and hopefully try to make some music (nothing like this off course). So, thanks! I'm learning a lot on how to build music with your videos.

In Mexico, the majority of music in Spanish is reggaeton or "corridos tumbados" unfortunately it is "music" that does not contribute anything and a large part of the population hates them. That is why seeing a New Rock Band from Monterrey Mexico like The Warning fills me with pride and makes me believe that Mexican rock is not lost.

Awesome TW reaction. Love how you broke the song down to reveal its uniqueness. I'm not a rocker so your analysis of these songs helps me better appreciate the music. I'll be seeing TW next month in Oceanside, CA and seeing your videos will guarantee me an outstanding experience!

Your musical talent is truly a gift. Thanks for showing us how your brain works. Feel free to express those inner thoughts while doing reaction videos. That would be very impressive! P.S. Nice to see your channel growing.

Nice meeting you in Brooklyn. You were so polite and easy to talk to. What a show! We are both lucky to see them in such a small venue up close. You deserve TW and Rudy to love your reactions. You actually know what you are talking about and are an asset to The Warning (and any band you React To in the future). I’m sure you have to eventually React To some other bands, but I hope The Warning reactions continue for a long time. This was fun. You are too notch. Looking forward to your NY video…and watching this channel grow!

The Warning has started to release live performances from their biggest show to date, at the Pepsi Centre in Mexico City last year, in front of 8000 rabid fans, so please make sure to use those from now on, if the song is available.

Vigil of War is great. Lead singer and bassist is Alicia Vigil, who is also the bassist for Dragon Force. Their lead guitar player was Kiki Wong until earlier this year when she left to tour with Smashing Pumpkins.

Excellent concept, thanks Josh! Sorry Phil, but I'm sure your TWA subs had to chuckle when you got your first little taste of Dull Knives (Cut Better). To your credit, you were grooving to the track which truly shows how much you enjoy them and their unique modern style with a throwback feel. I think many now wish to sign up for the music composition class you took if you professor/instructor is still at the school you attended. Developing an ear for nuances in any piece is a lot like practicing any other instrument.

Hello Phil, this was very interesting and didn’t feel like a flex at all. Impressive prediction powers, which sadly go to demonstrate that a lot of songwriting is just run of the mill stuff that could be done with AI without serious loss of quality. No wonder you prefer the songs that surprise you. One of your Spanish followers has commented elsewhere that you need to check out Eruca Sativa (and introduce your wife to them, probably, although taste is of course personal and not subject to discussion). They are a trio from Argentina, a male drummer and female bassist and lead guitar/singer. The Warning have opened for the them on their first tour of Argentina, and they became close personal friends. DPA mentioned them in an interview during their ongoing tour as among their top five women in rock. Although just “rock” doesn’t do them justice, they have a broader range of styles. Ale mentions Brenda, the bassist, as one of her biggest influences. It’s up to you if you wish to react to them, they are rather unknown on a global scale because it’s an unfair world, and since Brenda and Lula are also mothers of young children, they will hardly ever tour outside Latin America. So if your priority is boosting your subscriber count, they will not be much help. But you strike me as someone who likes to discover things, so the least you could do is discover them for yourself. And I also have a hunch that TWA might take pleasure in discovering, and supporting, a band that has supported the Warning and helped them be discovered, and gain experience and craftsmanship. Eruca Sativa have a KZbin channel, and the clips from their XV anniversary Estadio Obras concert are a very good starting point to catch the spirit. I suggest Para Que Sigamos Siendo.

There is a video of Dany sitting in the audience watching them and the guitarist/singer walked into the audience and handed Dany the guitar and had her play it live and do a bit of a solo along with the bassist.
@thomasalbrecht59146 күн бұрын
@@GreatOutdoors1 yes, I’ve seen that! It was in a club in Monterrey, I seem to remember, when Eruca last came to Mexico. There is also a clip where they hang out together probably at the Villareal’s home, probably from the same time. They are very obviously good friends and hold each other in high esteem as musicians. And Eruca are almost 40 years old now. It’s lovely to see the human quality of the relationship between musicians that are not even the same generation.

Phil!! Now that you’ve finally crossed the Warning live concert bridge, I am going to reiterate a comment I made a few months ago, and repeated several times since, when you said you were a vocal nerd. You should dive down into the other huge YT reaction rabbit hole: Nightwish. Specifically, I’m not going to suggest what is always put forward for the band, which is the most reacted to video on KZbin, Ghost Love Score….. but instead, Song of Myself. I think this will fit your vocal skill level better. Don’t get me wrong, Ghost Love Score is an incredible song - but you are the guy who started out his Warning journey with “Z”, so………

1. I just love TW because they re-ignited my passion for rock music, without labels..!!! 2. I'm a drummer, but Ale's playing had to do with me getting a bass 🎸 and starting learning it... she is abtrue thunder goddess... 3. It’s because of TW that I discovered Band-Maid and love them inmediatly.!! So, music in general and specially rock, has the ability to created whatever we wanted, if we put all bullsh*t aside. Rock is life
