Cool video Eddy! Thanks for that. Btw Ive always thought that twos up was a game the the ANZAC soldiers used to play during the war. Involving two coins being thrown and bets being made. I. E. Gimme heads, Gimme tails, Gimme double up or nothing! Peace out ✌️😊

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and for your "Two's Up"' theory: definitely sounds feasible (of course the band is turning the idea of the game into a sexual metaphor per usual). Peace out. ✌🏼😉

Yeah, Eddie. This was fun, and as per usual, your quick sense of humor and down to earth approach, always makes it work! I myself do like it better when the songs are talked about. Maybe a Top 3-5 for each LP, you know. I realize that doing this quickie listing is basically conforming to the masses' lack of attention. You know, do it quick so they watch. Its a shame how people can't seem to pay attention for long anymore. Due to having way too much on the The plate. But i say if youre gonna eat, then have some decent, tasty & substantial food there to enjoy. So this, plus a ranking, and talk about your favorite and least favorite songs. Anyway, always great to see you (and hear you), Eddie! Marc ⚡

Thanks, Marc. Funny thing is when I first did this video it kind of flopped and a few of my subscribers voiced their concern that I wasn't going to be doing more in depth videos anymore. I was just trying something different and Saxon has so many albums that it seemed like a practical and fun way to tackle 'em all. Jump one year later and the video has actually become one of my more popular videos, so maybe my approach wasn't wrong for people outside my subscriber pool. My old NWOBHM video series was similarly a slow burn and now it's popular, so in the future I might do more in that series: in which case I'll do a more in depth review of Saxon's early albums. Not that I make videos just for the clicks, but it takes time to edit them and make them as good as possible, so obviously I don't want to put in the work if no one is watching. Anyway, thanks again for watching and for commenting. It's always appreciated.

@@EddyCannistraciAbsolutely, Eddy. No worries, and I fully understand. It's smart to try it this way anyhow. I mean, most people don't have a strong enough of an attention span, attention to detail, or genuine interest to be that into it. Shame. But I know this, as long as you're involved, it will always be entertaining, intelligent and humorous. Give me the choice of a lame, humorless host doing a longer, detailed show vs. someone like you doing a shorter, less informational one, you know which way I'm going! Because, look, I already know a ton about most of these great bands and artists, so tuning in for the entertainment value is, really, the most important factor for me. So, for me, you're one of the good hosts, Eddy. And I always look forward to your shows! Keep rockin'... Marc

Fantastic review of two classic, underrated AC/DC albums!!! I'm glad someone likes FLy On The Wall as much as I do. I would still like to hear a remixed version of this album though. Fly On The Wall falls in at #7 on my list with a 9.25, even above Back In Black which is right below with a 9.15. Blow Up Your Video is a bit further down the line at #15 with a 7.75. And in that Amazon box is the new Black Sabbath Box Set, Anno Domini on vinyl.

Fly On The Wall has been my second favorite Brian Johnson album (after BiB) for 15-20 years. Everybody gets stuck on the production, I remember critics saying it sounded like it was recorded in the Alps. But the songs are some of their best from the 1980's. Fly On The Wall, Shake Your Foundations, Playing With Girls, Sink The Pink, First Blood, ... those are all killer heavy songs! The only song I don't like is "Danger". Fly that flag high, man! I happen to think the lyrics to the Fly album are fucking brilliant! So vivid and thick with scum. The whole album is like a sleazy, heavy metal version of James Joyce's Ulysses, only taking place in some squalid little downtown strip of shithole bars, strip clubs, and late night diners. The Brian character is fresh out of prison and back in business as he roams the streets, dodging cops, courting trouble, and drinking himself silly with the boys.

Great list and total respect man. We are in full agreement on Destroyer. As a kiss fan, I totally get why it usually tops most peoples lists but it’s just not my favorite collection of songs. The first two songs are some of the best Kiss ever did in my opinion But the album kind of takes a dive from there I think. It’s a nice polished sounding record, but I just prefer the more raw kiss and thankfully for me they returned to that sound with the next record. Poor carnival of souls. Man does that record get a lot of hate, no pun. I’m one of the few that actually like it. I think it slaughters Psycho Circus…. but of course it wouldn’t be hard to achieve that. that’s probably the album I was most let down by.
