I tried this recipe for lunch today and it was simple but so delicious! I mixed the miso into the broth right at the end before adding the noodles. Thanks for teaching me how to bring a piece of Japan to my home!

Question! Whenever I try to fry tofu covered in corn starch, the first batch comes out fine, but the second batch burns a little quickly. What can I do?

Amazing video to start my day by droolling haha. If I want to make this for two, should I just double everything and separate it into two plates, or do everything twice (to share the quantities better)?

Why do you use sugar in the soup? What happens if you don`t use it? Can you substitute?

In Alaska using only cold water can be a pain. I add a little warm to keep my fingers from freezing. I've got a different rice cooker but the principle is the same. I'll trying soaking next.

I'm curious if I also can add like a tbsp of peanut butter, of if that messes it up ... like it looks fairly rich without it already ^^

Amazing and easy thank you! Can we use Sambal Oelek in place of Toban Djan? Also, isnt Miso non veg(Fish)?
@kandichanАй бұрын
Hi! Miso is fermented soybean so it's vegetarian. Sambal oelek sounds yummy 🤤 the ramen will taste more like Indonesian cooking than Japanese though 😊
Thanks for making this video ! I have been looking for good vegan ramen recipe to make at home. I am glad I found this. I have a small request, It will be great if you could provide amazon links for the products you have used, like which kombu powder and ramen noodles. Thanks !
