I agree that CS2 has gotten to a point gameplay wise that it would be hard to go back to CSGO now, the biggest problem really is the cheaters, it is so defeating when you have many thousands of hours but it is impossible to get a legit high elo lobby, it is just a endless loop of cheater lobbies till your elo gets pushed down so low you meet low elo players that you stomp till you get the cheaters again. This ruins it for everybody.. and I fear it won't be fixed anytime soon if ever since cheats will always be a lot easier to create than to counter

Before my graphics card shat the bed my pc with an i9 9900k and a 2080 super could run CS 2 and at 220 to 260 fps at 1080P, but it would suffer enormously in death match. I think it’s because valve got rid of clear decal binds meaning that 16 people’s blood sprays and bullet decals were piling up on the walls and that’s what was killing my frames.

How many years did it take for csgo to be "Polished" I hopped on CSGO from the start. day 1. I hated it. After like 4 years it got better. It was fucking broken though but it got better, 7 years it was finally in it's prime working conditions. The game was still fucking broken sure but we'd all gotten good enough with the bullshit in the game even in 64 tick matchmaking. I fucking hate CS2 with all my heart. Right now. We're just passed the first year of CS2's released. My i5-4690k and GTX 970 are struggling with CS2 for sure. But I'm still climbing in premier. And I will upgrade to an I3-12100f or a 14100f since they run the game quite well and get an Arc B580 when it gets put on sale.

Valve is not killing the market and rare items the players are everyone wants to invest in new items hoping they will be rare some day but with a large majority of the players doing so its doing the opposite the only way newer items will become rare in the future is if less people invest in newer items or a bunch of items get lost on trade banned accounts valve is trying to actually do the opposite and keep the market alive with the armory pass by creating a smaller window to get these items so items can be more rare thats why they trade banned a lot of people that participated in the glitched game modes that would allow you to earn 5 armory passes worth of stars in a single game thats why valve also doesn't allow the purchase of armory stars so people actually have to play and earn them making it harder to get the stars to obtain these items

I really don't understand what's happening to this game. On one hand, Valve is putting a lot of effort into coming out with new maps, fixes and new content in general, but on the other hand, it seems like they are intentionally trying to kill the market and the item culture, basically slowly phasing out what makes them the most money. They're either extremely stupid and detach from the community or, for whatever reason, they do it intentionally. I have about 8k hours in csgo and I used to be an avid player/collector. This time, I didn't even buy the major pass and had no idea when the major happened. I just saw a video on yt that Spirit won. I tried to start the game just to check it out and it started downloading like 10GB of updates! I shut it down immediately and moved on lol.

I hate the CS community. Everyone is always complaining about new additions its ridiculous. People whine about lack of content but when new maps get added, nobody wants to play them. I remember when Vertigo got released in CSGO and everyone was hating how shit it is. Now its pretty much a staple. If i go play Premier, Ancient and Anubis are the first to be banned just because people are used to 24/7 Dust and Mirage. If i'm being honest, the only stuff i'm missing rn are the OG maps, that are still in development. Cobblestone, Lake, Bank, Safehouse, Cache... The only thing i was missing on release was arms race and more wingman maps. Now we got both, so i'm just hyped on what's coming next.

The jumping accuracy in the first 1.6 clip is grossly unfair as there was only 2 guns that had jumping accuracy, not all guns. 1.6 was a better functional program than CS2/CSS/CSGO... The hit reg, netcode, shooting mechanics, all of it, just better working... 1.6 > cs2 in functionality.

cs2 doesnt even have content in it, we get one neutered map that deletes half of the fun of the map while getting brand new microtransactions. compare how many case opening/gambling videos there are compared to any video of someone actually playing the game.

The stuttering is fucking insane. There's something just wrong and they're doing the same shit they do with TF2 and just giving radio silence to the playerbase. I know this isn't a Source 2 problem, I played Half life Alyx and it ran butter smooth. Also, Valorant isn't even a better option. You could have to go into bios to play it because of Riot's dogshit Anti Cheat. I've had my computer completely crash mid game in Valorant, me and my friend started playing games again after years of not really talking and we had to stop because both of us were experiencing enough crashes to be worried our PC's would eventually brick themselves.

For me the biggest, unforgivable fluke that valve did was intentionally hardcode 64tick in the client. It's one thing to say "64tick servers are too expensive for valve to run for all official servers"' but it's another thing to just go "we won't let anyone ever enjoy a superior netcode because we don't want that". From what I've heard from pros who tested early cs2 faceit beta servers, 128tick + subtick was amazing, but it seems like we'll never get to see it... so sad

I just want the game to have good hit reg and feel smooth and crisp just like the 128 tick servers did. Not to mention that they forced third party matchmaking sites like Faceit to use the subtick system instead. Valve has never heard about the term ''If it ain't broke, don't fix it''

Performance issue is the #1 reason why I don't play CS and it simply has to be improved, you can not expect your user to get a new 2k dollar PC because of one game. Ofcourse I dont think ppl with PCs from like 2014 should expect it to run well but if it's the only competitive game that really runs poorly like in my case then there is an issue.

i miss not being to lied about my ping i go css its 70-80 in cs2 its 40 but feels 2x forse than 80 in css and me shots not counting now with the prediction its so obvious to see if its not counting

CSGO took 3-4 years until it felt really crisp. CS2 in beta was so much better than CSGO in beta. The fixes seem to come more frequent and bigger fixes more often than in the beginning of CSGO People need to realize this is a COMPLETELY new game, new engine so everything basically needs to be done again from scratch.

Not gonna lie, removing official CSGO support was the right move---they didn't want another 1.6/Source community split. They were right about that. Biggest problem still leftover in CS2 is that they didn't bring back Short Dust and, especially, Lake when they finally brought back real Wingman maps. And of course the scourge of cheating, which is admittedly a lot less awful than a while ago. They need to bring back overwatch for real.

Imagine trying to play but pretty much every single time you hit the jump key you are PRAYING that this jump will actually work how it’s intended. So yes, that does make an impact on your experience. This is definitely the biggest movement issue in the entire game.

I have a ryzen 7 7700x and 4070ti, i usually get around 450+ fps on decent settings however the 1% lows while shooting drop to 80-90 fps sometimes (like seriously ?) if anyone have any idea to improve it, please let me know because while shooting (most imp part) its very much jittery which is quite disappointing and frustrating while playing !
