God I loved this deck back in the day. I changed it some and made it dominate FNM's. I recall one game where I was playing against a mono white life gain deck and I just picked and chose when I took damage or not. They had Ajani, caller of the pride and I let them do the last ability. They had about 100 life so they go to put that many 2/2 cat creatures out on the Battlefield. They attacked with all and I used riot control to get the life and prevent. Did my turn and passed. There next turn they attacked again and I used Cyclonic Rift for overload cost removing all the tokens and returning what little creatures they had to hand. We ended up go to turns and I won 1-0 cause I couldn't get the last 2 gates I needed nor find my Maze's End.

Has anyone here in the comments section ever played a game of tournament Magic where the opponent did not present his deck to be cut?? I'm shocked by this. I've played in tournaments around the continental US and never once has this happened to me.

hey what do you think as mortal combat for another win con i mean if you're playing a badass legacy or modern deck you probably don't need it but for us with less good dredge decks what do you think. Awesome vid btw.

Seriously people, Google is your friend. Stock Manaless Dredge lists are all over the web. There have been some changes since 2013 so he may not even be running the same list any more. Here is my list, which doesn't run blue b/c I can't afford Force of Wills: Dredgers 4x Grave troll 4x Stinkweed 4x Thug 2x Shambling Shell (I tried cutting a Shell but had too many no-dredge hands, ugh.) Meat 4x Ichorid 3x Nether Shadow 4x Prized Amalgam 4x Narcomoeba (Yes, Amalgam is better than Shadow. Try it and see. As long as you sequence triggers carefully it's better than it looks. Plus it lives through Elesh Norn, which is important, and allows you to easily combo kill with Flayer even if Grave Troll already got Extirpated / Surgical Extracted.) Draw 4x Gitaxian Probe 4x Street Wraith Graveyard Active 4x Therapy 4x Dread Return 4x Bridge 4x Phantasmagorian Reanimation Package 1x Flayer 1x Balustrade Spy 1x Griselbrand Anti-Hate 4x Chancellor of the Annex Sideboard varies depending on what I expect to see. A green anti-hate package is common, consisting of Dryad Arbors, Land Grants, and possibly Nature's Claims or Reverent Silences to kill hate cards. Some hate cards are so strong that you're probably dead if they resolve, like Rest in Peace, which is why the blue package with Force has become so popular. Hope this helps.

People who cycle cards in their hands are suspicious just to begin with.

You can't repeat the effect of Phantasmagorian as many times as you want, like you did your second turn by discarding six cards; it doesn't say you "may" return it to your hand, therefore as soon as you activate the ability and discard three cards, it is immediately returned to your hand.

The MOST ridiculous story about cheating i ever eard... A judge... A FREAKING JUDGE... that i knew (i was a judge too) got caught as a player as presenting a mana weaved deck... He got suspended 6 months. That guy was a freaking judge, i worked with him as tournament staff... that's a fucking shame.

These cheats all rely on the opponent not cutting, which every magic player should be doing every time their opponent shuffles

I play it now with Prized Amalgam instead of Shambling Shell. It works pretty fine actually.

What I don't understand is why people don't run kiora's follower. With one out you can get two maze's end activations out in one turn.
