Thank you so much Puan. Most of the recipe that I found uses ingredients that I've never heard of like biscuits exemplar. Or to add rice flour, etc. Your recipe looks easy enough and straight forward.

How come it takes so long, 2.5 hours, to boil the chang? Overnight-soaked glutinous rice takes v little time to cook. A bit puzzled. Thank u for your lovely recipe.

0:18 Hello Aunty Neo! Will marinating overnight in tamarind juice make the chicken meat tough? The acid in the tamarind juice, I believe, will have effect of "cooking" the chicken somewhat. I felt that was what happened to my assam prawns. I marinated them overnight. Prawns became tough n clung to their shells! Or maybe prawns were poor quality. I dont know. That's wh i am checking with you. What do you think, Neo? Thank you v much.

Hi Aunty! Agree with 2:41 you flavour is fantastic. It is so appetizing that u will be tempted to eat more rice! And it is so simple to cook compared to other recipes. Marinate prawns 15 to 30 mins is really good enough. Thank you, Aunty. 10:07

Yes, your recipe is authentic as I learnt it from a Malacca Portuguese lady. They pronounced it as Debal Curry. They can replace cabbage with potatoes or even cauliflower. All up to different homes.

Saya lebih suka yg lama texture dia lebih lembut kalaw tk mahu dia lekat buka api kecil panaskan 10 ……. 15 minit kemudian klw mahu lagi bagus pukul sebiji telor, bakar dulu nnti acuan kita tk akan lekat lagi sbb dia sudah cukup panas.
