He was so disenchanted with them within the next two years. He was in the process of replacing them both and pushing forward with new members... Very close held fact that was actually written in a letter to Krist in early 1994. He was disgusted with their greed and input in the song writing process and with Krist's alcohol abuse and attitude toward the band...

I was at this show, it was amazing. I can see myself 20 year old self in the video. At 45:15 I'm patting Kurt as he is walking down the stairs. At 47:12 I finally got Krist to come over and asked him a question (I asked if I could play the drums until they come back).

In Dave's book "The story teller" he writes about this. Krist actually took off his shirt to help the bouncer whipe blood from his face. The bouner didn't percieve it that way.

This show was pure brilliance , the way they'd slow the tempo down to control the crowd, you don't see bands tight enough to do that often and the way Grohl would triple time the drums while in a slower tempo was freaking fire Nirvana Still Rules R.I.P.Kurt

I first got heavily obsessed with nirvana when I was 12, in 2009, although there was a lot available for a nirvana fan to indulge in at the time compared to like, 1995, but now I'm 25 and getting really into them again its awesome to see all these more underground shows have been updated with better audio and picture quality. I can watch these shows for eternity!!!

it's cool how fast Dave Grohl jumps into that mix. Krist is doing a good job diffusing it too to his credit. Looks like Kurt was pissed off the bouncer was trying to yank him back to the stage, he probably thought he was doing his job, but you can't yank a guy by his head/neck/hair when 10 other guys have him, also, jsut let the guy crowd surf ffs. Kurt caught him real good though, and not surprised he was pissed off.

Охранник,не пытался затянуть его на сцену!!! Курт хотел вернуться,но охранник не видел как Курт прыгал и не узнал его. Думаю,что он просто устал всех выкидывать со сцены и принял Курта за одного из них. Когда Курт дал охраннику по голове гитарой,тот его схватил за волосы и пытался вытолкать. Второй охранник тянул Кобейна на сцену. А когда охранник,понял,что перед ним Кобейн,то ударил его за то,что тот ударил ему по голове гитарой,что тоже очень больно. Но виноват охранник,это он пропустил то как Курт прыгал..

I remember reading about this show in Dave's book, truly a crazy night with both the equipment problems and the bouncer. Especially with the context of how tiring the tour already was you can kind of see how it wore on them. Anyways, crazy to see it in on video, never thought I'd actually find it! Thanks for uploading!

there's far more to the story than we usually expect: So Kurt damaged a soundboard that was actually the bouncer's property, which already ticked him off. Due to BS that was happening with the venue, Kurt decided to stage dive. One thing lead to another and well, the fight happened. It's commonly now seen that both sides are in the wrong: Kurt was being a bit of a dick for the whole thing, but the bouncer didn't help matters either. There's even a video explaining the situation too.

I saw them on this tour in Chapel Hill, NC day after my birthday, 10/04/1991, at The Cat's Cradle. The setlist is almost the same, and definitely was one of the best concerts I've ever seen! I was already a fan of Nirvana and couldn't wait to see them. Didn't get to meet Kurt, but got to talk with Dave and Krist which was awesome. I haven't been able to find video from that Chapel Hill show to this day. This show is the closest to the night i saw them.

That performance of drain you came so close to being the best they ever did. A few small hiccups let it down slightly. Vocally it was 10/10.

At 35:23 the asshole bouncer just shoved Kurt out of his way from behind, Kurt looked at him and waved people to keep surfing to the stage. I got to give him credit cause I think I would've reacted differently at that age......
