He was so disenchanted with them within the next two years. He was in the process of replacing them both and pushing forward with new members... Very close held fact that was actually written in a letter to Krist in early 1994. He was disgusted with their greed and input in the song writing process and with Krist's alcohol abuse and attitude toward the band...

it's cool how fast Dave Grohl jumps into that mix. Krist is doing a good job diffusing it too to his credit. Looks like Kurt was pissed off the bouncer was trying to yank him back to the stage, he probably thought he was doing his job, but you can't yank a guy by his head/neck/hair when 10 other guys have him, also, jsut let the guy crowd surf ffs. Kurt caught him real good though, and not surprised he was pissed off.

there's far more to the story than we usually expect: So Kurt damaged a soundboard that was actually the bouncer's property, which already ticked him off. Due to BS that was happening with the venue, Kurt decided to stage dive. One thing lead to another and well, the fight happened. It's commonly now seen that both sides are in the wrong: Kurt was being a bit of a dick for the whole thing, but the bouncer didn't help matters either. There's even a video explaining the situation too.

Imagine being lucky enough to have Kurt Cobain bust your head open. That bouncer should have stood up and thanked him

That performance of drain you came so close to being the best they ever did. A few small hiccups let it down slightly. Vocally it was 10/10.

Fun fact: this concert, THIS concert, was attended by the brother and mother of one Lacey Sturm, and would peak her interest in rock music. If you don't know who lacey sturm is, she's currently a solo artist, formerly of (and currently, as she's recently reunited with) Flyleaf. "And if you don't know who Flyleaf is then **** you!" -Richard Roberts

At 35:23 the asshole bouncer just shoved Kurt out of his way from behind, Kurt looked at him and waved people to keep surfing to the stage. I got to give him credit cause I think I would've reacted differently at that age......
