18:03 Any particular reason you use a staggered foot placement for OHP? I've never seen that before, but it seems to be working for you.

I don't care how much they cost tell me the elite FTS looks like the best one by far as far as hand spacing I have the Black Widow homemade one he built for me because I have one in standard bars and the bar is a monster it weighs 75 lb I can probably hold up the house LOL but it looks just like that one and the inside grips are really close that's the grip I love for triceps training with that monster bar once a week LOL and then when I do my regular bench with the regular bar I feel like I can smash the bar in half with my bare hands it's so easy but like I said that is the best bar sorry kabuli I don't care if you're $1,000 the way it looks no go.

Awesome video. Thank you for the review. Just wanted to give my two cents: I used a narrow MAG grip for the first time last week at a gym while visiting Florida. It felt amazing. My lats were sore for days. ***A narrower grip will target the lats more as it will make them stretch more, whereas a wider grip will target the Teres Major and Mid Traps more. I use a wider grip a lot of the time at the gym to target the mid traps on rows and I like to do a narrow grip for the lat pulldown, however, the narrow grip felt so good on my lats w/ rows that I will be adding in narrow grip rows as well and getting rid of my old favorite single arm rows to save time. Both are awesome and serve different purposes. So if you wanna target those lats, go narrow grip, if you wanna target the mid traps and teres major (more on LPD I believe), go wide. Hope this helps!

So many videos about this - but no one talks about the extreme toxic chemicals these mats are made with how how unhealthy they are for you to be indoors.. Like smoking a pack of cigarettes as you jog on the treadmill for 1 hour - does the body no good to breath in all those unhealthy toxic off-gases from your mats. Get healthy not cancer!

I've had the Rep bar for 2 years. The close grip is fantastic for incline & the middle grip for flat bench. My shoulder doesn't jive with 0° angle of the outer grips and I use to prefer wide grip on a straight bar when I was younger. I'm sure if it was around 15° it would be way better. The knurling sucks and definitely have to chalk up when I start going heavier. Especially in the oklahoma summer cause I don't have air conditioning. All around just to save wear & tear on your shoulders it's worth it

I have an irresponsible question... I bought a Gun Metal Gray RM-3 (like an idiot) when everything in my gym is red/ black/ white. I really want a red rack, should I sell and buy a Rogue Red or take it to a powdercoat shop? What's your opinion on which will be a higher quality powdercoat? And I know how stupid this question is 😅

You could also just get a 2" hole punch for the foam! Also the washer tips make me think I've been using washers wrong my whole life! Never thought about that, I'd also add applying 3 in 1 oil to all the bolts, washers, and nuts first and potentially using nylon washers.

Thanks for your videos. This one and the cable attachments video have been very helpful. Just got my first MAG bar (medium pronate) in today and used it tonight for my back and biceps workout. Wow! After using a straight bar for lat pull downs, this thing is amazing. It’s a great example of the kind of American ingenuity and quality I’m happy to support. The ability to keep your grip out of the equation is really nice. I could really feel the focus on my lats. The bar feels good, works well and even looks good. I liked the new bar so much, I’m ordering more right away. Thanks again for your content. Keep up the good work

Bells of Steel is a shady company IMO. In one of their latest videos I commented on how their new chest expander looks suspiciously similar to the ones offered on Aliexpress and in bulk at Alibaba, and for more than half of the price they're selling it for. Within the same minute I posted it they deleted my comment lol. That told me all I needed to know.

I stopped caring where things were made a long time ago. Typical example of how american greed causes the price to be 4 times as much. And the american ones are probably still made in china. They may be made a little better, but four times better??? I run into a lot of overpriced stuff "made in america" and quite often these companies are located in California where it costs crazy money to make everything. I would buy the knockoffs just to avoid the american products and I am an american. If you have money to waste buy american and line their pockets so they can drive bmws and bentleys. Another example of this is rep fitness products. They are in the usa but their products are made overseas. They are ridiculously expensive. For instance if you want to chose a different color on a rack they charge over $500 to chose lets say white or blue etc. With other brands like vesta fitness, they dont charge a dime. Vesta has an office in the usa but I believe they are foreign. Do what works the best for you but if you have loyalty to american workers and american companies you may get ripped off.

Thanks for making this review. Im considering these at the moment. My only issue is that I’ve got 6 sets of dbs with a combined total of 540 kilo (40-50 set) and that exceeds the weight limit by 200ish pounds. Would you think that is a major issue? The heaviest dumbbell sets will be on the lower tier so I think I might be able to make and extra something for support there in the middle 🤔

For those in Canada, I recommend getting these plates from Fitness solutions. They have the exact same plates made in the same factory and looks exactly the same. Only difference is they are branded "great lakes". Normal price is $2 per lb. On sale, they're $1 per lb or $1.5 per lb.

Bells of steel have true 3”x3” racks and all the innovation they’re doing with their attachments and cable towers is amazing. Every other overseas company (Rep, Titan, etc.) don’t use true 3”x3” measurements. And Rep cutting the loyalty program and all the delays with shipping is leaving a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. Still a good company though. Titan finally started innovating as well. I think people will be great choosing any of these brands. Just don’t buy anything random off IG or Amazon.

I have owned my rogue Ohio bar for 4 years, only cleaned the outside. I remember actually being kind of disappointed by the spin for the money spent when it first came out of the tube. I did this cleaning today, which only took like 15minutes. Holy baby Jesus. It spins 10x better than ever did on the first week that I owned it. Thanks so much for this.

Fantastic, but would have been great if (1) the barbell was tested for permanent damage after each round, by rolling it on the ground. (2) Find a way to measure the extent of bending for each weight in order to compare whip with other bars in the future. Bars are meant to bend, but not bend permanently. In fact, deadlift bars are extra bendy to help with the beginning of the lift. Stiff bars are another story.

Have you compared these Mags or generics to stuff like the Kensui Swissies (or other alternatives on Amazon). Currently I’m considering getting the pronated medium MAG but the Swissies (or cheaper amazon alternative) incredibly versatile when it comes to grip width.
