I made a couple of follow up shorts about this. I contacted Ruger and had them send me a new magazine latch spring. I installed that and it fixed the problem. The issues I had with feeding seemed to clear up after breaking the gun in. I still ended up getting rid of it after that though.

I have had the gun for probably 7 years now and I can count how many times I have shot it on my fingers. In fact, I haven't shot it again since I made this video almost 2.5 years ago. That is the downside of having so many guns and constantly buying more to test. There just isn't time to get around to everything you have. I think it was sighted for the 45 Colt. The problem as I pointed out and demonstrated is that all the different rounds you shoot through the gun have different points of impact. No matter which one you choose, the others will be off. Even at 10 yards there was a huge difference.

Two things I see as a slight problem with the new Bodyguard vs LCP Max (there are a lot of upsides too) The grip frame is a little longer, combined with the rear beavertail it will catch on the pocket during a rapid draw. The Max is a little shorter and slicker in the rear area. Other than that, it’s an unbelievable package. The original LCP is the slickest footprint of this class and withdraws the quickest of them all.

This comment is all over the place. I am not sure what abortion even has to do with this video. However, you seem concerned about what Jesus would do, so do you honestly think Jesus would condone the murder of a child in the womb? The 2nd amendment was absolutely written by men; however, they did so to ensure that the government didn't infringe upon a right that was God-given. That is the right of self-defense. As for whether Jesus would carry guns, how do you know what he would do? Jesus' disciples carried swords. There is nothing that says that Jesus didn't at some point as well. Even if he didn't, he clearly did not forbid his disciples to do so.

I'm a safety guy as I've always trained to disengage the safety while drawing. I have a G43 and sig320xl and am always subconsciously looking for it while drawing as I've carried a shield for years. In some instances yes it's a novice thing however it could also come down to muscle memory from years of using a safety. It is also one more step an individual has to take if it becomes a ground game and they are unfamiliar with my firearm (if they somehow got it away from me, say getting jumped). Now carrying with no round in the chamber that you could argue is a novice trait, racking the slide in a tense situation is no good as it can very easily be misracked with sweaty palms or just sloppy in the heat of the moment. Advise highly against this unless you are Jerry Miculek speed and proficiency. Once again training can make anything possible but always remembering in the back of your mind you are only going to perform at 40% of your best in a high adrenaline scenario.

Liked your slide to grip module reassembly tip. Maybe it’s MY masculine ego but only one 2.0 reviewer, out of the countless I’ve watched, mentioned an important FACT the Bodyguard 2.0 slide is difficult to retract. Nearly impossible (for me) to manually lock the slide for disassembly without an empty magazine inserted to facilitate this operation. The slide release is not the easiest to operate either. I got to hand it to Smith & Wesson their captured compression return spring assembly is one strong little booger. Thanks for your review!

I have been down on Springfield Armory ever since they pulled a fast one against Illinois gun owners along with Rock River. I used to live in Illinois and took it personally when they made a sweetheart deal with crooked Illinois politicians. Since that time I have been tempted by some of their products, but have always remembered what happened and stopped myself from buying their stuff. I had gotten angry in the past at Smith &Wesson, Ruger, and even Colt for some of their “accommodations “ to anti-gunners. Maybe someday I will forgive, but I’m not ready yet.

I once owned a Hungarian manufactured "Hi Power" clone that was strictly GI. No extended bever tail, target sights, larger safety, or rounded hammer. It was, and remains to this day, the only pistol chambered in 9 Minimal that I felt comfortable carrying everyday as it fed every bullet style/type I fed it and was amazingly accurate out to fifty yards. Sadly, it was department policy that ANY semi auto pistol, carried on or off duty, had to be a DA or DAO. I kind of wish I still had that pistol as it might well have been the most accurate 9 Minimal pistol I have ever owned.

@@Rob-xj3xh Those issues were generally with older guns. You have to remember that Smith and Wesson were the original 357 Magnum revolvers. I did that with my P365 and wen't from hate to love in shooting it. I still shoot the micros with a larger magazine better or longer "grip" better . If you find your groups are not what you desire try using the longer magazine like the 12 or 15 round for the Sig and the 15 rounder for the FN. It will make a difference without having to adjust the sights too much other than maybe windage.
