Should 2A Advocates Defend Hunter Biden?

A video detailing some of my thoughts on the Hunter Biden gun charges and trial. Should the gun community stand with Hunter Biden against these unconstitutional laws or just say he had it coming? Are we people of principle or people that just want to defeat our adversaries?

Excellent points. Reminds me of how David in Psalms rejoiced when his enemies were broken. There are so many things the Bidens have apparently done to compromise our country, and I hope justice will be served for those acts, for sure, but I can't gloat about anything. I need to be praying for these folks, as hard as that might be sometimes. If they can overturn any unConstitutional laws in the midst of all this junk, that would be the Lord's hand in it, for sure. Trying to stay optimistic in the midst of today's society can only be done when we know God is in control, so I pray with you that He will continue to lead us through some strange times.

Good video & nice high power pistol 👍 I enjoyed your talking. John Adams said, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Morality and virtue are the foundation of our republic and necessary for a society to be free. Drug addicts like Hunter, lack morals & virtue because of the addiction , as politicians lack them because of lust for wealth & power. We are left struggling to apply the Constitution to an immoral & wicked people, such as drug addicts, adulterators ,liars, thieves. What every immoral & wicked person needs is the great salvation that Jesus Christ offers. Regardless of the political agendas & U.S. constitution, the more important need is everyone of these folks are heading for eternal damnation unless they repent & turn to Christ as their savior.

Well he lied on a form 4473 and was an addict. Do the crime pay the time. Form 4473s are unconstitutional and unlawful since no form is required to keep and bear arms under the 2nd Amendment and it is a violation of 4th Amendment privacy but that is beside the point since we all have to fill one out to buy a gun from a dealer. Guilty as charged by the OSC. "Are we people of principle or people that just want to defeat our adversaries?" I would hope our principles don't include breaking the law as he did even though this particular law is unjust being contrary to 2A and 4A law. Form 4473s should be challenged and defeated in court as unjust and Constitutionally contrary then this kind of thing would not even exist. The restriction of drug use on a 4473 is a violation of 2A law since there is no drug restriction on the right to keep and bear arms. Hunter Biden knowingly lied on a 4473 regardless of the right or wrong of the restriction or the form itself.

I would disagree that it is beside the point. It is the point exactly. If the Constitution is the ultimate law, and these other laws that are passed are unconstitutional, then he did not actually commit a crime, because these laws he broke are null and void. The fact that the vast majority of gun owners are complying with the law doesn't change the fact that the government has no right to make us. A high profile case like this could be an excellent opportunity to go on the offensive.

@@rbm6184 But alcohol is not a specifically protected right in the Constitution. In fact, prohibition was put into effect by a Constitutional Amendment, the 18th, and then repealed with another, the 21st.

@@Preacher357 True so if you think you can overturn form 4473 and its restrictions in the Hunter trial then go for it. But I don't think that is going to happen. Its still law right now until its overturned and Hunter broke the law. So what I am saying is defend the 2A and 4A and the Bill of Rights but not Hunter Biden.

Its going to take a case specifically targeting that form as being unjust and contrary to the law, not just someone who violated it. Right now its the law and Hunter broke the law. Yes we should defend the 2A and 4A and the Bill of Rights but not Hunter. If you want to overturn 4473 then get your reps to submit a bill and overturn it in Congress when Congress and the presidency is not controlled by gun controllers.
