What kills me the most besides everything is the very ending that it was recorded at a park/sidewalk with those "futuristic" vehicles parallel parked on the side lol.

3:12 This scene is so out of place. I mean we get to see tiberium crystals all over red zones, gdi tanks, scrin towers, and we get to see a normal day in TXN whatever that channel is. Honestly, the cutscenes in Tiberian Sun look better. Those scenes make me feel like I'm watching Starship Troopers, except it's Command & Conquer.

Plottwist: What if Kane was brought to earth to save humans... all what he did was to prepare the humans from the visitors. In the end he saw that tiberium was the only was to fully prepare humans because they are so fragile. But because humans are so stubborn, aggressive, disloyal etc. he gave up on the humans and use the portal to leave.

We as a species have gotten to the top of the food chain because of our ingenuity. With trial and error, tools and cleverness, we essentially have tamed and/or classified most of the other species on our planet. We got this far because of our tools to give us the edge against flora, fauna, and mother nature in general. We strive to master our surroundings. As the video said, we were cold, so we harnessed fire. We were weak, so we invented tools. The infrastructure, the network of communication, our cities, our means of transportation and manufacturing... A mere hundred years ago, people couldn't have fathomed what we have today, and who knows what we could achieve in the next hundred years. This is the most human ending when you put thought to it. We will always strive, but we can't strive without our tools. And yes, there will be casualties. But that's how we got to where we are today. Trial and error. Trial and error to see what we could eat and what was poisonous from the edible objects around us. Just the most basic of gathering so our ancestors could partially fill their bellies. Trial and error to figure out how our ancestors could survive another day against animals who were better killing machines. No. It's who we are. To deny it is inhuman.

They never explain why Taggart poses as being totally anti-augmentation if the Illuminati only wants augmentations regulated. The only thing I can assume is that maybe Zhao Yun Ru serves as the "pro-augmentation" voice of the Illuminati, and they figure having those two voices will lead to some sort of equilibrium. One of those "humanity won't all follow one voice" thing, like the Order and WTO.

Watching these, it kind of pisses me of how Deus Ex: Mankind Divided forced you to take a certain side. That sh*ts on everything Deus Ex is supposed to be about. I feel like they caught the Woke Flu, because not only do they force you to a certain side, but they seem to associate the aug cause with "Social Justice Warriors" (the Harvard Professor on Picus even uses that word). That seems almost disingenuous to me, considering the previous two games (Invisible War and Human Revolution) made it crystal clear augs were a way for the wealthy and prosperous to become even more wealthy and prosperous, so SJWs would probably hate augs the most. I feel the David Sarif ending monologue most closely reflected my views, but I can't imagine how it feels to pick the Taggart Ending and then be forced to fight against the Illuminati in Mankind Divided.

It's amazing how right JC Denton was when he called honesty a "forgotten virtue." Didn't anyone else just choose thing ending because it was the truth? Don't you see an ethical problem with lying to the world about something this big?

I wish this series had better writers for its story, and that it hadn't been ruined by EA. Could have been amazing.
