I tried and now I have a big ass focus tree! There're so many paths! Democracy (both aggressive and neutral), Fascism, even Communism is here! The industrial branch is also cool af. There's even a nuclear bomb focus! But the strange thing is that Luxembourg is never mentioned in these focuses. Idk, maybe this is just a designer idea.

Unironically, I would love if we could get something like a "Collectors edition" release. Like something that us as fans can get. Something cool. Like an empty steelbook case for HOI4. Would love to see how the design is done, especially with all the different DLC artwork done. I'd like to imagine a cool Steelbook exclusive art piece. A bit more extreme but could be cool if you could a Steelbook of all the different artwork for the DLC's. I could also see something like getting an actual "Guess Whoi?" game in there. Like maybe have 4 different boards in total. Each with a color and slight theme correlating to the 4 main government types in the game. Capitalist is blue, flashy, and looks "expensive" while Fascisim has a darker color to it, with an imposing design, Communist will be the cliche of plain and minimalistic, either in depressing brown, or dark red, while Monarchy will be more regal, and in Purple. In all honesty this can be as simple as the plastic have some little changes to it. Different colors and so on. Would also really love to actually get pictures of HOI4 leaders, generals, and admirals. But I most definately think the coolest thing to do would be an actual trivia game about HOI4. Obviously not just about history. But about the game and the jokes and memes made throughout the history of the game. Like " What countries will Hitler escape to in this rare event" With the answers being all the secret Hitler's you can find after the German Civil War" " What famous WW2 leader can be found under a new identity in other countries" " What are the main 4 ideologies found in the game " "What DLC introduced border conflicts" "What if the name of the event that starts a border conflict between Russia and Japan" "What DLC redid the American Focus Tree" " How many nations have had their Focus Tree changed/altered more then once from DLC's" "What is the Queen's cabinet staffed with?" "What is known as the hardest achievement in the game?" "How many different political pathways leading to new leaders does Poland have? Depending if you wanted, I could also see something like questions about some of the most popular mods for the game. But I really do think it would be cool to see something like this. Probably more meant for the big fans. But would love to have na official " HOI4 Steelbook" to add to my collection, or have some type of fun little board or trivia game relating to HOI4 to do. Though if we ever did get something like this. I'd hope the box that it comes in is cool. Not just a plain box.

Play Rise and Decline of the Third Reich while you're at it, it's a GSG board game that is in some ways very similar to Hoi and may have been its inspiration or at least a major influence on it, I hear. Fair warning though it's very long and has a massive board.

Dang... Now that you mention it, I remember browsing through Steam the previous Hoi games before (out of curiosity) and seeing those tiles in the image examples. I remember my brother did mention a game like this being large and requiring a lot of dedication while debriefing of what potential WW2 boardgames to buy for the future. Thanks for this amazing video! I was expecting jokes like "In HoI5 the war mechanics will be from Vic3, not HoI4" or "The next DLC for HoI4 will be developed in collaboration with MS Excel", but it turned out much better. And the idea of Hearts of Trivia is actually quite good. You could ask questions about Historical Focuses, geography, mechanics and micro-parameters.
