If you want one properly written you should try to get at least a 5 inch scroll.

do you know who is writing these passul mezuzos? obviously its people who are familiar with hebrew, and they appear handwritten (not talking about the printed/copied ones). are they just very poorly trained? maybe not even religious or jewish?
