Someone put a ton of work into that four link install to leave nasty, wavy frame flanges and not paint anything. Welding it solid into the frame is an interesting approach, where a lot of installs seek to reuse the original mounting points and bushings.

I have had metal in my eyes. 3 times in 5 months! It sucked! Almost lost my left eye. I take eye protection seriously. The doctor will stick a needle in your eye... then drill out the metal! Scary stuff!!

@@drewc.1950 I feed mine from the port on my IPR remote oil cooler kit. If you don’t have this setup you can get a fitting that goes into the oil cooler housing where the factory turbo feed line goes and has an AN fitting on it. Then you can T off a feed line to each turbo.

So my truck doesn’t have an air deflector and I didn’t even know it needed one until I saw this. So my question is, do I really need to have the air deflector. I installed my aftermarket horns there but can easily relocate them. Is the air deflector necessary?

HELP.....I have a 2004 reg cab and what looks like a short box. It does have a small window behind the front seats, but I don't think it's an extra cab. Will a reg cab 8-foot box application work? I can't find a kit that will fit??Can anyone help me? Thanks, and Merry Christmas

Installed mine and everything went great! However, I’m curious if the oil capacity is higher now? It took almost 20 quarts to fill. It’s worth to note that I overhauled the engine as well.

I think my turbo seals are bad. Smokes whitish smoke when accelerating from a stop after warm up and some oil in down pipe. What do you think? If so, worth rebuilding or replacing. Been doing it for a few months. Thank you in advance

@ gear ratio swaps aren’t terrible to do if you buy one that’s not the ratio you really want.

Awesome video, sadly without a garage i probably wont be tackling this myself now that it winter but just finding a link to the rail kit save me some massive time. I feel like I probably could tackle it with some welding brush up though (or find a friend who can) I have a 2007 that over all is still in good shape so trying to get a few more years out of it. Yes. Because I have just removed my 02 bed. And we were looking at how to easily remove the old rails. And then how to mate the 2 surfaces for the tack welds. So your video clearly addresses these issues. Plus the weld thru primer thing. Perfect. Thanks again.

Already using ipr coolant filrter.. looking at doing the re.ote oil cooler on our service truck... whats your thoughts on egr delete or ipr gen 3 while in there... wanting to do this one time.. as we didnt do it while rebuilding the wntire motor..

@@InTheShop yeah i see it all the time. rust belt sucks, and people often keep things longer than they plan. I thought i'd keep my truck 3 years, but undercoated it every year since new just "in case" i kept it longer. Its been 11 years. its just like new, and only now paying for itself. Thanks for your Content by the way, I never knew about the doorman repair. I must look to see what vehicles they make them for
