Also, when I was a youngling and had Sonic Mega Collection Plus, I unlocked blue sphere and played the shit out of it. I was blue sphere guy.

Crazy that far more powerful hardware cannot emulate a Dreamcast game. But that’s the thing, they can. Boot up a ROM of SA1 on Dreamcast and it works like a dream, but the DX makers didn’t want to emulate, they wanted to improve it. Lesson learned: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

This is absolutely a shared experience for me but something you allude to at the end is that you can shoot a target after the timer ends. Something I accidentally found that made this a ton easier: if you leave one of the top targets red, and shoot it after the timer runs out, it will start again and give you a full 99 seconds. This was the only way I could beat it, and now I know why!

Sonic Adventure DX is the worst remake of all time. I don't care if I haven't played it: it legitimately made Sonic Adventure look like a more unpolished and buggy game in the public eye, and that is much worse than any being full of glitches can do.

I went back and 100% this as an adult years ago, and i was able to get every banana relatively quick, except for the one... The fucking mini game where you have to chase the beavers in the hole, specifically the last one in the castle world. That mini game legit took me 4 days of attempts after work, which was (no exaggeration) close to half the time i spent collecting everything else in the game. I was shocked that wasnt the hardest for you, or anyone for that matter lol
