Sounds like a lot of the problem is writers not communicating with other writers or not knowing what the background (or CURRENT background) for their characters is.

why not js call jon superkid, eventually he'll take the title of superboy bc he meets conner. conner then takes the mantle of scion or idk like "Prodigy'. it makes no sense to make conner so stuck on superboy. i mean i love conner kent superboy. he is my favorite superhero in all of comics(young justice or titans is my favorite). but if the problem with his character is that he can never leave the roll of superboy then give him a new identity

I really hate what the New 52 did to Roy. One would think the reboot would undo the edgyness done in Cry for Justice and Rise of Arsenal, but instead it just cemented it as a core part of his character... All to keep pace with Red Hood... So lame but such a DC thing to radically alter a character tie him with a Batman adjacent.

Roy Harper aka red arrow did seek redemption in my opinion which made me so happy.

I personally like the idea of him having a clone or another version of himself that all the bad shit can happen to and become arsenal like how they did in young justice, so a positive red arrow can live out his happy life while an the angsty arsenel can be it's own character.
