This k3la would sound like to be apart of the Metra cab car

I've noticed something with these 5T's.....they seem to produce an undertone of about 180hz when they're coming at you. I got confused until I looked up the factory tuning and put all the frequencies into a tone generator. 180hz is what my ear thought I heard. Kinda strange. I prefer Nathans but the Leslies are nothing to mess with. Glass shattering loud!

Id love to hear the K5LLA at that lake. Or any horn. Id love to hear the differences from the road and the lake

Beautiful S3L! It looks awesome and sounds incredible. This is what a train horn should sound like, very loud and commanding, a true attention getter. All of my favorite fallen flags used S3L and RS3L horns, from the C&O, B&O, Chessie, L&N, and of course, Conrail.

I love the sound of the K5LA. The first time I heard one was back in 1978 when I was riding on Amtraks National Limited train from Pittsburgh Pa to New York City and the train had the F40PH locomotives

I know this was meant to clean things off of nearby racks within 20 meters or closer, but I'm surprised you said it's smaller then usual projector wasn't designed to project sound far, It's projector nearly looks like that off a Type F Diaphone. If this had a fog horn application you might hear it 30 miles away.

Cool collection update. I recently picked up a couple Leslie supertyfons. The S5TRF needs a manifold (one side broke off) i have (# 37, 25, 44, 55 bells) need the missing bell as well. Curious if you had any parts or knew where i could find what i need? Thanks.
