Be interesting to know with the extra mass of more blades, plus it appears that the pitch of the blades is identical. the motor is drawing more power, so what affect is that having on RPM, if any. Also (I'm not an engineer, not even close) my logic is telling me that the more blades you add the pitch would need to be reduced to compensate, or increase the motor size. the thinking behind my "logic" if you want to call it that is WW2 fighters they had Variable Pitch propellers, so depending on the RPM and altitude (air density) the pitch of the prop adjusted automatically to match the engines peak optimal power...sound about right to you??

If you look at airplane propellers, the blades are twisted. Steeper angle at the center, shallower angle at the tips. That's because it takes more torque to overcome the aerodynamic drag at the tips. Twisting the blades spreads the torque demand over the full length of the blade resulting in higher RPMs, more thrust and less energy needed (amps). Higher RPMs will most likely expose the differences between straight blades and twisted blades.

@@MechNinja my F-35 is very small and although would be housing a 31mm EDF, it’s essentially using 2 Tiny Whoop motors as a coax. 65mm Whoops are 15-20g and hover around 40% with 4 motors (that are anything from a 0603 to a 0802). I’m hoping 2 motors is enough to make the plane fly. Hahaha the whole plane is planned to be 40g max. Definitely checked out your other vids. Great stuff. ☺️ My first step rn is seeing if the plane will fly 😂 then I’ll worry about efficiency and different props between the first and second motors.
