The black background on the pomegranate has to be my favorite of the three it looks so cool and very much like a victorian era art piece

You did a great job I just started paint by number kits love it so far but I'm having hard time with lines and covering
@jumperstartfulАй бұрын
I use a drop of Flood by Floetrol. It thins the paint and you don't lose coverage like you do with water. I mix in into the paint pot with a toothpick. It helps keep the paint from drying out in your pot and it extends the paint. Also I use a toothpick for very small areas. It is easier than using a small paint brush. I also bought a better set of brushes. $10.00 for a set of much better brushes than the ones that come with the kit. Worth the price.

i know this is an older video but im thinking of buying through them but saw reviews talking about the durability of the pin backs, how long lasting are these and have you still got them to comment on now? will they fall off?
@M3lart4 ай бұрын
I don't recommend them if you want something that will last a long time. When I was selling the pins on Etsy it seemed like nearly half of the orders said the pin backs didn't hold up. I sent a lot of refunds because of this and I no longer sell them in my shop at all. Their quality control is very unreliable across all of their products, I don't order from them anymore

Ive been thinking abouyt getting a paint by number just for exercise sake. I havent painted in a long time, and i feel like it would be fun to get back into it by just kind of having a premade outline and trying to make it look like a real painting. Thanks for the tips.

Bonjour M3, votre travail me plaît beaucoup. Je vais tres certainement m'en inspirer. Vous avez peu de petites cellules sur votre canvas par rapport à d'autres. Est ce une marque specifique ou faites vous vous meme exécuter un canevas à peindre avec une photo ?

Little art thing I do is I get a glass plate and put plastic wrap over it so I don’t gotta buy an actual palate, also I don’t need to clean the plate as the plastic wrap comes off and it’s nice and clean!

Do you still like it a year later? The price is so much better than the Munbyn one I was thinking about getting!
@M3lart Жыл бұрын
Yep, I still like it and still use it regularly! The labels don't always stay perfectly centered and it occasionally can't figure out where the labels start/end so it misprints sometimes. But if you don't mind that and want to save money then it's a good one!

Your doing absolutely great. This can definitely increase one’s understanding of finding hues, values, tones, shadows. Would love to see it completed. Its actually a whole new skill to be able to successfully turn a pbn into a more impressionistic painting in itself. Kudos!👍👍 think I’ll attempt vangogh’s starry night. Seems like the blending should work right in harmony with his brush strokes style.
