You are probably only the second or third person I have heard ( and I watch a lot of bass fishing vids ) that uses Izorline! It’s all I use in fresh and saltwater!

It’s crazy how much everything has gone up in price. He said “$60” 😭 I just paid $92 for one last week and on eBay they’re $160. Did a great job covering the lure.

Just found your channel for this video. Great explanation, exactly my thoughts on which snaps and rings to use. Though I will say the SPRO heavy duty split rings are actually pretty great too, and are always available at academy if I’m traveling and I don’t have a good tackle shop available (shout out to BaitWrx and Modern Tackle in the Springfield MO area). Subbed for sure.

I only use 100lb braid with 150lb Fluoro leader. But for musky not bass.

What's your thought on paper clip style snaps? I've been using them on baits up to 2 oz fine. Not sure how it will handle 5/6 oz bait.

I loved watching your content so much and it’s hard to see it gone. Hopefully not for good though… anyway hope you’re doing okay with whatever is going on in your life. Tight lines man.

On the flip side if you tie to the double side of the split rings it slides to the single side and you end up with a loose knot. As mentioned above the ovals are the way to go.
