Swimbait Bass fishing in early fall can be tricky with the bass moving with the bait fish. I go over a couple of Lures that i throw with consistency during the transition into the cooler months.

The 68 or a big ass jig are my go-to's pretty much til ice over. Love the 68's. I think the t-shirt thing will take off once your subscriber numbers increase & have more time/provide more content. As a small business owner myself i've kicked around setting up a gofundme but have always resisted doing it. Its just something that never felt right to me. So I totally get the whole back & forth about trying find alternative sources of $$. Just my 2 cents man, your channel is still a baby but has major potential, keep doing your thing & all that non fishing stuff will work itself out.

thanks for the input man! and yeah its def a hard choice to make as to whether or not to set one up. gonna see what i can do this week with hustling some stuff on craigslist and possibly some tattoo's. It's coming down to the wire and missing an opportunity to fish and be on film with flukemaster and Chad hoover would be devastating to me and the growth of the channel so i guess ill do whatever it takes once the time is here.

love the videos, awesome content as always. stepping out in faith like you are doing is commendable, many will tell you you're off, but handle it, follow your calling. Great Video as always. Love the content and the style you bring to the industry. The apparel will take off soon. I do not know enough about the GoFundAcct but you gotta do what you gotta do. An alternative is to set up a raffle to fish with you either at your home lake, a surrounding lake or a lake of that you and the winner agree on. Just a thought. Good luck!

I think there's a lot of serious reasons to set up a go fund me. Making it to a free fishing trip/seminar would be fun as hell but I wouldn't ask people for gas money to make it. That's just me! I would figure out a way to hustle up the money. Garage sell check my assets something! Do a few tats!

Dustin Edmiston definitely know there are serious needs out there for people and that's why they set them up. I already am hesitant towards it so that's why I asked. My friends have told me to do one cuz it's not just going to the seminar. I'm filming and trying to collaborate with other creators along the way creating content for the channel. And really trying to bring it to the next level like lunkers and fluke etc. I'm hustling at home, selling stuff and working in the shop by appt and filming and getting stuff up on here. They said those campaigns work pretty well if you're giving something in return (content). Like I said I don't know much about them and have never done one. So your guy's feedback is appreciated! Hey James I've had issues getting bites recently even with swimjigs or hudd 68's, any reccomendations here (highly pressured) Also, my RM neg has been turning over whenever i pop the reel hard to try to get it to glide out like a 250 or hinkle shad will, could it be because im using a snap or because im using 20# fluoro sometimes 25# mono

hmm. when im throwing a 68 i have a couple retrieves. dead slow bottom crawl up and over and around cover or ambush spots. or med/fast retrieve with pause and let it fall a bit then start back up just like a spinner bait. i also will slowly retrieve it and pop the rod tip up couple times like im hopping a jig and let it fall and get hit on the fall or pop sometimes. if im fishing active balls of bait ill burn it through em, or on the top with the tail just waking the surface so it ripples. as far as the RM and its glide. ive always found the negotiator doesnt like a fast paced reel, it washes out really easy on high speeds and hard reel pops. it does best glide wise in a steady slalom style glide. like i said in the video i fish it really slow personally. i fish it on 20# cuz its expensive. if it was cheaper id throw it on 17. any heavier than 20 and it kills the action. and ive fished snap and split on it and it never really made a difference in my opinion. that may be a personal thing.

Jorge Fidalgo I defiantly agree with you on that. And I understand that point of view. Trust me I'm hustling and selling everything I have at the moment. But. I wasn't asking for cash in this video. Just asking opinions on people's thoughts about godundme campaigns. I've tattooed full time for 15 years and just left that to go full time with this. I'm filming as I type this. So the extra shifts equate to more videos and going across country fishing and filming and collaborating along the way. You don't really get paid by the hour on these KZbin gigs. It's all engagement and watch time.

What you could do is set up a patreon instead of a go fund me where you could offer special videos that only go on patreon, that way you are giving back to the donors. By the way your videos are definitely some of my favorites.

He uses a color correction on his videos that is very teal and orange saturated which is making that trout look far more blue than it actually is. Naturally it is a grey/light blue

Savage I'm still able to do appts at my shop when people need them. In the vid I say my last "scheduled appt" so income is still available, leaving my job to me means I just don't have a permanent station for the first time in 15 years at my tattoo shop. I float and don't have a Schedule now. My fam is supportive of the choice and we're making the appropriate accommodations and changes for me to be able to grow the channel and make it my full time gig. And if it doesn't work I can always go back to tattooing full time. Fingers crossed lol

Savage and if you look at the top fishing KZbin'rs they all rapidly grew once they committed to daily uploading or close to it. It's hard to grow unless you can dedicate the time to it. Or unless you go viral. With a full time job and schedule it's almost impossible to upload quality, creative, daily content. So I cleared my life so I can focus on this. Ya never know till ya make the jump

yeah collabs helped him a ton. collabs are on the horizon for me also. But Collabs only go so far though. they are great for initial sub count spikes but its the daily, engaged, quality content that really propels channels. youtube sees the constant activity and the view's go up and you start ranking and gaining momentum in youtube's algorithms thus spreading you further across the platform. I eat, sleep, and breathe figuring out growth plans. lol its all i study outside of fishing. i really want it to succeed so im really doing the homework on how to grow the channel from all angles.
