Happy to hear that a person doesn't have to take tons of supplements if you get your diet right. I spend so much money on supplements from turmeric to D3, magnesium, mullein for chest congestion, etc.

Let’s say a steak is 1:1 ratio, and your goal is 1:1.5. If the steak is 30g of protein, and 30g of fat, does that mean you only need to add 15 more grams of fat (like say, butter)? Also, does the fat you cook the steak in count too? Thank you!

I made these and I love them. I made them with equip salted caramel and the equip chocolate. I am going to be making some more chocolate now you’re right the measurements really aren’t a big deal. Thank you for this recipe. I’ve also made the recipe from Maria Emmerich with the cooked egg whites( equipprotien) I personally think this recipe is much easier and I like the taste better thank you for posting it… it’s my go too from now on

Hello Rebekah, I know this comment is coming much later than you originally posted, but would you recommend that I continue taking my electrolyte supplement alongside the Aussie Trace mineral supplement, or can the mineral supplement replace my Electrolyte supplement? Just want to thank you for all the amazing content you share with the world, God bless you!

Thanks. It was nice to see your baby. It helped me remember that baby steps can be very awkward and unbalanced-looking, but they have a purpose. Babies almost always take off running when they are ready.

It really is a mental game. I have gotten to the point (over 3 years carnivore) where my family (parents & siblings) thinks I am too strict. I know that even one meal, side, snack brings back allergies, headaches, bloating and sore joints and the list goes on. I don’t miss any of that. Humans are amazing. I think of my mouth/body like the gas tank in my car. If I put anything other than gas in my gas tank how well or long would I expect my car to run? I know what to put in my mouth for it to run like a top and any time I am tempted to put anything else in my mouth I think about that.

The culture has a way of making folks like us seem like we are the odd ones for eating healthy or for carrying 5-gallon water bottles to refill every week, and refusing to drink Family Dollar water, let alone faucet water. It's crazy! I will never forget how I felt a few years ago, I ate an m&m's Cookie Cake that someone bought me for my birthday. The next day, I felt like a straight-up hell-raiser! I told myself that day, "I ain't doing that there no more." I continue to feel good eating my mostly animal-based, O.M.A.D. way of eating. I don't even crave junk! 🙌 Thank you for what you do, Rebekah! ❤

I believe it’s sugar and processed foods that are doing most damage.. I know vegetarians living into 100s they just don’t eat sugar and Processed foods …. People are not dying from vegetables

He’s so precious ❤. I’ve been carnivore 6 months and my A1C is dropping! Was 9.8 now it’s 7. Looking forward to my next checkup in Nov. I’m slowly lowering my meds. Swimming more and lost 30lbs so far. Not as fast of results as I’d like however this is the best I’ve ever felt and more insulin sensitive I’ve ever been. Reversing a lifetime of American junk takes a while. Even when I thought I was cooking healthy it was still too many carbs. Now carnivore makes me feel good and happy. Especially beef.

Somehow I missed this video. But yes something is coming the next few months will be insane. I think the gvmt has been exposed this last week big time with the tragic events in NC. I hope the whole country is awake now. But also the bad guys are desperate. I’m preparing as best as budget allows and trust God will fill in the gaps.

All understandable, BUT HOW long is this oxalate dumping-how long can it last? Can it last for few months or even years on and off? How to finally get rid of it
@carnivore_invictus12 күн бұрын
I have very puffy eyes and my tears are often soupy and I wake up with crusty eyes. I’ve been carnivore for almost 2 years but I eat a lot of hot sauce (Melinda’s habanero garlic). Would that be causing oxalate dumping? I eat almost nothing else but beef, eggs, and butter.

Great info!! Thanks Rebekah! How does one know if they are fat-adapted? Also, how do we dial in the 1-1 or 2-1 ratio? Is it by weighing food or are there examples like the steak example being a 1-1. I am not eating strictly carnivore, so I will for example mix ancestral ground meat with some veg and animal fat. I am struggling to know what animal fats and how much work for me. I am also needing to limit foods that produce estrogen because those seem to trigger hot flashes. Do you recommend ghee or coconut oil as well?
@e.l.p.i.d.a12 күн бұрын
Thank you Rebekah! I am 49 and haven't had a cycle in 3 months. Am experiencing hot flashes every 1-2 hours through the night and it's very disruptive to my sleep and wellbeing. I do eat meat with every meal. I've been using Grasslands freeze dried liver & kidney, 1 tsp each daily. Do you think this is enough or too much?

I have horrendous hives every night. I have been taking an antihistamine which handles most of the itching, but sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve had them most of my life, and it’s misery. Please tell me which DAO supplement that you recommend. I would like to help my body heal, instead of masking symptoms.

histamine here.... the itching - whole body randomly is massive...:/ BUT its like i take 1 antyhistamine and its gone for days weeks if i get out of keto for a moment eat something with carbs like 20-25carbs and then going back to keto then i starts again if i dont take antihistamine it usual takes about 2 days and itching is gone. thats all good i can deal with it... but heart palpitation and axiety is something that antihistamine dont help with:/ sometimes 2-4 days all is fine and then i eat something and it starts again with heart palp. Im more then sure my electrolites are on point! blood presure and glucose is good.. not sure how to deal with it :(:( 3 years ago i was on keto and lost 21KG and never had any issues like that now... its a struggle.. ALSO if i got anxiety and heart palp my weight dont go down at all... as soon as im stable it goes very quickly. Blood shows me ketones also so all good here. i would appreciate any tips or direction i could try (im currently more then 1 month in keto and very small portions of crucible vegetables beside meat and eggs) thank you!

I started cutting a lemon in quarters and squeezing 1 quarter into warm water and chugging it - at several points in the day. This really seems to be helping with some heartburn. Maybe it will help digestion in general. (I plan to get dandelion tea which Rebekah mentioned that she drinks daily to increase liver bile.)

Glad it is helping! That glucose on empty could lower fat burning however. I wonder if ACV could have the same benefit?
