Cold turkey…Gave up massive diet pop addiction in 2015 ….went almost completely carb free…. Started carnivore almost 3 months ago ( no dairy, but black coffee😊) ….. lots of small victories ….

Thank you for this. I am nearing 80 days on carnivore and have really struggled over about the past week with deep cravings for sugar. I ate some no sugar peanut butter cups. Even though they helped the craving, momentarily, they truly only made me want more sugar, and I feel like I am struggling with more fatigue Over the past week I’ve probably eaten some four times! They were Stevia based.

My electrolyte drink has stevia in it & I drink one a day. I occasionally drink half of a zevia ginger ale & haven't noticed any issues with it.

I really needed to hear this today! I’ve been off diet soda, diet Mountain Dew to be exact for maybe six weeks now. I know I feel better but in the back of my head, I still wanna drink it lol thanks for reminding me why I should not!

damn im drinking Diet Dr. Pepper right now, but I am in a calorie deficit everyday tracking macros with a scale, so i am making progress and getting leaner. But i agree its probably bad for you. but I do prefer it over a sugary drink or dessert.

Beautiful animals. I had a very interesting reaction to stevia extract, allulose, and monk fruit. I began using them for about 1 month, every single day. By the end of the month, i did my fasting insulin test, my insulin shot up by 30 points. Sweeteners for me, is like eating buckets of sugar. I also noticed I was puffier, bloated and had digestive issues by the end of the month. Never again.

@@rebekahheishman-tailoredke8939 It was excessive. LOL My husband told me I should have never done that. It wasn't all 3 sweeteners each day, it was one sweetener I would pick for that day. I would use it to sweeten some whole cream , or to make pork rind cereal. But basically, I found out it's a no-no for me. Take care my dear. 💖💖

I WAS ABLE TO SWITCH FROM SELZER WATER WITH FLAVORING AFTER ORDERING ORGANIC GINGER JUICE WITH NOTHING ADDED. 1 TEASPOON IN A CUP HOT OR COLD WATER. I TRIED A KEY LIME JUICE BUT MY BODY DID NOT LIKE IT AS A DRINK. CAN USE A LITTLE ON FISH WHEN I HAVE SALMON OR SARDINES. I REALLY DONT LIKE BUYING PLASIC BOTTLE OF ANY THING. I FIND THE GINGER IS A GOOD STOMACH SOOTHER.

Hi! When do you drink your electrolytes cocktail during the day? What do you drink the rest of the day if you cut electrolytes at a certain time? Pup is adorable! David is getting so big!! So sweet! Thanks Rebekah

I am befuddled that people consider pop/soda as something to be consumed. I avoid any sweet tastes as well.

Hi Rebecca, I’m on carnivore diet past six days to heal my guts from sibo and Candida, but I’m experiencing diarrhoea for six days. Is this normal and will it go away anytime soon? I’m very worried

Don’t worry. It is common enough to have that happen. It did to me. It usually resolves for most people in a couple of weeks. However that was not my experience. I had a lot going on micro biome wise. Your body is adjusting be patient. Keep a close eye on your water intake and especially electrolytes. You don’t want to get dehydrated. I may have had SIBO also but it was never diagnosed however I learned I have (had) histamine intolerances to beef, so non-aged meat like lamb helped. So look at histamine intolerances if it keeps up. Don’t give up, I am SO much better now! You can do it! Blessings!

@@ezra4518 I just went to Costco yesterday and stocked up on shredded pork (precooked no sugar) no sugar bacon and New York strip. I would have picked up some wild caught Salmon but I still had some left. Add Sardines! Well, here is a weird little nuance that just goes to show how everyone is different. I’ve read that Sardines are high in histamine which I react to when eating steak (this is diminishing over time BTW and my current Costco shopping spree is a bit of testing). Although it has taken me a while to listen to my body it seems to prefer fish rather than red meat. Sardines are not an issue for me and they actually supercharge my metabolism! Picked up some lamb chops also!

@@ezra4518 Have you looked into making your own cultured dairy? Kiefer, or l. Ruteri yogurt? These are supposed to work REALLY well (and did / are for me. Dr Davis has a book called “Supergut” which describes how to make it at home and how it is so beneficial at curing SIBO and fatty liver, etc. Donna Schwank (not sure of spelling) has a great KZbin channel going into great detail on fermentation and its health benefits for SIBO and many other issues

Hey, if the diarrhea doesn't go away in a month, then that could mean you have some underlying stomach or gallbladder issues. So if it doesn't go away, I want you to look into Harry Serpanos' videos on carnivore diarrhea. I am still battling mine.😂
