I also love this video, often it has helped me to sleep. I did buy the myotape from your site and it was sent to me in the middle East. It's a pity because they are expensive, 6 tapes on a sheet of paper and in my batch 2 or 3 only stick partially, there isn't enough sticky substance, so one side is well stuck and the other just peals off. Really not fair and I trust you'll attend to this matter.

Great, thanks! Is an app available that can guide me with this? For example 4 seconds in, 6 out for three times and then 4 seconds holding breath. There are multiple apps with 4-6-4, but I am not aware of any apps where you hold your breath only once every three breaths.

Why does this exercise have me yawning every second breath in? It yhrn forces me to breathe in through my mouth!

Your vagus nerve gets stimulated, creates feelings of rest and digest. (Rest=sleep). You could use your salivary flow as an indicator. If you have plenty of saliva, then the exercise is done properly. There are also some other explanations that your body fights the new breathing patterns. To prevent you from losing harnessed CO2 while you yawn, cover your mouth. And repeat two - three breaths with extended exhales. For example: in for 2 out for 3 and a short pause at the end of the exhale. Repeat. Good luck!

If you have this procedure done to your turbinates, it will destroy your autonomic nervous system, and as a result, the quality of your life! IT WILL HAPPEN!

I like all this, i too snore. I don't know if I have sleep apnea but I remember dreams some time where I had hard do breath. I have recently had a one side sinus/polyp/turbinates nose surgery and finally able to breath through my nose (but still on only one side), but it still feels a bit strange to do so and gives a bit anxiety. The other side of the nose is scheduled soon. But have this breathing training/method been validated somehow by some other?

I am one of those mouth breathers who didn't realise the cause of my bad teeth until adulthood. Even dentists nowadays don't fully understand the impact of this issue. I am glad, I have realised this and repaired my teeth at a steep price.

Does this help in perimenopause when hormones are irregular? In other words does breathing techniques supersede hormonal imbalance which caused the irregular breathing/anxiety in the first place?

Mouth taping at night makes my blood pressure go way up. I have tried 4 separate times over the years. I am usually around 115/75 and after two weeks of mouth taping I was at 150/85. It takes weeks for it to come down to normal when I stop.
